Parker Smith stood in the middle of the ring, and made the re-launch of Midwestern Pro Wrestling official. Parker said that the roster depth would be top priority, and that he was in talks with some of the best wrestlers on the planet to bring their talents to MPW.
Parker was elated to announce that MPW would serve as the official home of the North American Tag Team Champions; Pressure Point. Parker said that since they were brought together, they've been nothing short of dominant. Parker said he saw what happened at Tag Wars II, and thinks that the interaction between them and the duo of Frank Dylan James & 'Howlin' Joe Wolfe would serve as a wake up call. Parker said he expected the tag team champions to be there at some point tonight.
Before Parker could continue to list some of the wrestlers under contract, he was interrupted by Toderick Davenport III. The Southern TV Champion normally resides in the deep south, as part of the Gulf Coast Grappling Club promotion. TDIII had the Southern Television Title around his waist and a mic in his hand.
Toderick said that since 'MPW' had vacated it's championship titles, and since he was there in the flesh - the Southern TV Championship was now to be recognized as the top singles title in the promotion.
Parker lifted his brow, studying the young lion, as he continued to speak.
Toderick said that he was there to issue an open challenge to anyone in the arena. 10 minute Time Limit, and when he had officially defended his Southern TV Championship in the midwest, that it would be recognized as the 'National Television Championship.' TDIII told Parker that his championship was more important and prestigious than anything else he could 're-create.' Now that TDIII was a member of the MPW roster, so to was his championship gold.
Parker didn't deny any of TDIII's claims, and actually seemed to be impressed by Toderick's gusto. Parker said he would get out of the way, and allow this 'open challenge' to take place.
[Jay Stevens!]
Jay had a terrific run in the Cruiserweight Cup, and although he's still at the ripe age of 20 years old, he has been in the wrestling business for six years. Jay sprinted to the ring, hoping that he would be the first man through the ropes to make this challenge official.

National Television Championship Match
10 Minute Time Limit
Toderick Davenport III (c) vs. Jay Stevens
--
Result: TIME LIMIT Draw
Stevens was all oh so close to capturing the championship in both men's MPW debut. Toderick was able to escape the contest by the skin of his teeth. Steven's certainly proved to be a star on the rise, while Toderick seemed to impress the man in charge - while also christening the newest singles championship in MPW.

[Eric Carlson Cut a promo backstage about his plans in MPW. Carlson said he wanted to branch out, and carve out his own niche in the world of professional wrestling, and he felt stagnated in Northern Pro Wrestling. Carlson said he wanted to test his skills against someone who was a staple in MPW's first run. He had his eyes on challenging Shane Severe, and he would be watching the next match closely, as Severe was set to wrestle Nightfall.]

Singles Match
15 Minute Time Limit
Shane Severe vs. Nightfall
--
Result: Shane Severe defeated Nightfall via Superkick (7:12)
Severe didn't ever really look to challenged in this contest. The MPW Stalwart looked very sharp in his return to the ring. After his victory, Severe accepted Eric Carlson's challenge for a match.

[The Scottish Sledge Hammer]
[Hugh Gabriel.]
Hugh wanted to stake his claim as one of the more violent, and menacing men in the locker room. Hugh said that by the looks of it, Rudy Palmateer fit the bill of a man of size and strength that Gabriel said he would be able to walk right through. Gabriel asked for the match to take place on the next show.

Main Event
Tag Team Match
20 Minute Time Limit
Spin Cycle vs. The Evanston Express
--
Result: No Contest
The match didn't really ever get underway. As the wrestlers were about to lock up - Brinley Bishop and Tyson Brewer emerged from the back and inserted themselves into the action. The North American Champions walked with an edge, and seemed to take out their frustrations on the two teams that were set to wrestle. Bishop made short work of Spin Cycle, by overwhelming both men with an array of Throws and slams. Brewer was brawling with the Evanston Express on his own, and doing well for himself. Bishop got involved to make it 2 on 2, and the teams brawled on the outside of the ring. A double power bomb from Bishop and Brewer on Slater wiped him out. The referees hit the scene to break things up.
The lasting effect of FDJ and Wolfe, was every present. Pressure point sought to punish their confidence back, at the expense of two other teams that had weren't prepared to deal with it.
