Block A Match
15 Minute Time Limit
Dan Patterson© [A*P] vs. Corgi Mask [FA]
--
The show got underway with the current champion defending his championship against Corgi Mask. While Corgi Mask has delighted the crowd with his aerial abilities, he has fallen short in both of his contests thus far in the tournament. Corgi was at his best during this contest and had the champion on the ropes on a few occasions. A spinning heel kick from the top rope was a highlight which resulted in a nearfall.
The crowd rallied behind the champion who has been stringing together some impressive victories as of late. Corgi ended up mistiming a frog splash, and caught nothing but knees. During his attempt to catch his breath, Patterson sprung into action and drove Corgi to the mat with a double arm DDT. The referee was in position and made the three count at around the 12 minute mark. After the match, the fans saluted Corgi, and chanted ‘please come back’.
Winner: Dan Patterson via Double Arm DDT (11:48)

Block B Match
15 Minute Time Limit
Tyrone Walker [FA] vs. Reed Bellam [PURE-1]
--
The most experienced wrestler in the field; Tyrone Walker, seems to be drinking from the fountain of youth, as he’s been showing an uncanny ability to not only hang with the younger crop of talent – but he’s showing them the way. Tyrone’s match with Willard Manchester was a classic, and it’s clear that these two men should wrestle one and other again sometime in the future. As for the here and now, Tyrone breezed through this contest with the young Reed Bellam.
Bellam did his best to represent PURE-1 in this contest, but due to the drawing of his block, found himself constantly battling up hill. Ty played to the crowd throughout the match, before putting Bellam away with the ‘BBC’ at around the seven minute mark.
Winner: Tyrone Walker via ‘BBC’ at (7:03)

SLAMJAM World Champion Johnny Dreamer made his way to the ring at intermission once again. This time, his mood was drastically different. Johnny shouted at the fans, and called what happened to him on Day 2 a ‘conspiracy’. Johnny said that he wasn’t ready when the bell sounded, and it wasn’t fair that the referee started the match when he did. Therefore, Johnny said the match didn’t ever happen as far as he was concerned.
This brought Marcus Smith out from the back to a strong ovation from the crowd. Marcus hit the ring, and asked Johnny how he could expect everyone to buy into his over the top point of view. Johnny raised the SLAMJAM World Title over his head, and told Marcus that he was STILL the World Champion, and that there wasn’t anything he could do about it.
Marcus then asked the crowd if they wanted to see him take the championship away from Johnny – which is where they voiced their approval of such a thought. Johnny back peddled for a moment, before letting his pride get the better of him. “You’re on” he shouted. Johnny Dreamer vs. Marcus Smith for the SLAMJAM World Title. Marcus said, why don’t they make the match official, and have it at the CWC Finale? Johnny said, he wouldn’t have it any other way.
Marcus nodded his head, and turned to leave. This is where Johnny ran up behind him and blindsided him with a ‘belt shot’ to the back of his head. Johnny picked Marcus up, and executed his patented Ace Cutter finish. The crowd booed with authority, but the damage had been done.

Block B Match
15 Minute Time Limit
Willard Manchester [NPW]vs. Eric Dane Jr. [NPW]
--
This match was the first of two, where the winner would move onto the finals and the loser would have no choice but to sit on the sidelines and wonder what could’ve been. Manchester came into this match as a heavy favorite, having discarded 95% of the cruiserweight division, with his lone loss coming to current champion; Dan Patterson. Eric Dane Jr. on the other hand has found himself in the middle of all the drama in Northern Pro Wrestling, whilst being able to consistently find a way to overcome, and keep moving forward.
If nothing else, this match showed the level of resilience within EDJ, as he took a beating from Manchester, but kept finding ways to battle back much to the delight of the crowd. The time keeper warned both men that there was 90 seconds remaining in the bout, and this is where things got interesting. Manchester add EDJ on the ground and was looking to lock in a head and arm choke, but EDJ kipped up and back flipped while Manchester held on, refusing to let his position go. What he didn’t realize, was his shoulders were on the mat, and the referee counted him down. The crowd erupted! EDJ dove out of the ring and body surfed with the fans in the first two rows, while Manchester pleaded his case. The referee pointed to his shoulders, and said they were on the mat for three seconds. Manchester took off after EDJ, who had disappeared amongst the people, and Manchester was left scratching his head. It was official – there wouldn’t be a repeat champion!
Winner: Eric Dane Jr. via Inside Roll Up (14:12)

Block A Match
15 Minute Time Limit
HNDRXX [GCGC] vs. Jay Stevens [SLAMJAM]
--
The final match of the elimination stage of the tournament was set to close the show, as two hungry grapplers looked to use this opportunity to catapult their careers to the next level. The crowd could sense the desperation in both men, as neither one wanted to make any mistakes, so they approached this match with caution. So much so, that the first five minutes felt like a complete ‘feeling out process’.
The crowd would clap in unison, urging both competitors to seize whatever opportunity presented itself. HNDRXX showed off grit, and while he might not look like an accomplished grappler, his work In the ring suggested otherwise. He had Stevens on the ropes, and nearly put him away with The Thug Waffle, which Stevens was able to move out of the way of. Stevens would then grab HNDRXX and execute a slingshot brainbuster DDT in the middle of the ring, which would be enough to hold his opponent down for the three count – and punch his ticket into the semi finals.
Winner: Jay Stevens via Slingshot Brain Buster (11:55)
