More news churning out of The Clubhouse this week, as sources reputed to be in the know have rooted out an airline ticket to the Mobile International Airport and an AirBnB condominium both registered under the name Willard Manchester. The erstwhile NPW wrestler-turned-representative for Leon Van Zandt isn't scheduled to appear at Episode IV, so his presence in the city has raised more than a few eyebrows! No such information on tickets or lodging could be found for Van Zandt and neither could be reached for comment.
Earlier this week it was reported that Lars Hagen was looking to bring in some more fresh talent to GCGC and we can now confirm that through a series of phone calls and an in-person meeting just this morning with NAWC official Jon Smith several of the lapsed contracts from the now dormant Midwestern Professional Wrestling promotion had been picked up by GCGC! Look for Shane Severe, Liam Beasley, Reggie Taylor and Jamal Williams of the Spin Cycle tag team to make their debuts on the Gulf Coast in the upcoming weeks! Presently it's unknown if there will be any further signings or if Hagen feels like this is enough to bolster the GCGC roster.
In a final piece of news for the day, the logo for the upcoming Mardi Gras Massacre event on February 25th was revealed on the header of a press junket sent out from the desk of Angus Skaaland:
Although the only match signed for the event so far is the finale of the Television Title Tournament, it is expected that Mushigihara will be in action defending his Southern Heavyweight Title and that something will be done to resolve the issue of Frank Dylan James holding the Southern Tag Titles by himself. Keep it locked to the NAWC Network for more news on all of this and more as it develops!
