- Coming out of Episode III last night the GCGC fans were buzzing as the new promotion put on their best show to date, chock full of action and surprises from Angus Skaaland being promoted to Commissioner all the way to the Untouchables assault on Frank Dylan James! The big news coming out of the show, however, was the announcement that GCGC’s first Major Event would be coming to The Clubhouse live on Tuesday, February 25th and would be titled Mardi Gras Massacre!
- Conspicuous by his absence from Episode III was one half of the tag team champions, Go Gensai. The Pale General wasn’t in the building last night and sources close to the office are reporting that he suffered a broken clavicle, dislocated sternum, whiplash and a possible concussion all from taking Ronnie Long’s Western Lariat at Episode II. Currently there is no timetable on a return for the leader of the Ghost Army.
- It’s been public knowledge over the last couple of days that GCGC is on the hunt for fresh talent! Feelers have been sent out in all directions and an influx of new grapplers are expected to start showing up as soon as Episode IV. It is currently unknown if any major signings are upcoming, but the proof is already in the pudding if you take into account that former DEF, II, and MPW wrestler Aaron ‘Chico’ Vasquez made his debut in The Clubhouse just last night.
- Sources close to Lars Hagen are saying that the Gulf Coast Kingpin is fed-up with his son Karl’s shenanigans and has locked Karl out of any and all of the business of GCGC. It’s thought that Hoyt and Bennett would be accepted back into the fold if they made the right decision but at this point Karl might even be out of Old Man Hagen’s living will! Time will tell how this will affect business moving forward.
- Speculation is rampant that HHNRXX impressed everybody in the building last night with his performance from both a physical standpoint and a psychological standpoint. The upside seems high on the young grappler and and his performance in the upcoming Cruiserweight Cup could very well make a bonafide star out of him.
