Ladies and Gentlemen, it's with great pleasure that I announce the official signing of Wrestle PURE-1. I've spent the better part of the past six months scouring the globe with the mind to expand. After exercising an extreme amount of patience, and doing the proper amount of due diligence - I've come to the conclusion that 'PURE-1' is the perfect fit for the North American Wrestling Council. Our goal as an organization has always been to bring the very best professional wrestling product to our audiences. I have full confidence in the vision behind 'PURE-1", and look forward to the lasting impact that they will create within our organization from this day forward. Welcome home.
On the heels of this announcement, I would also like to acknowledge Lars Hagen and his new promotion out of Mobile, AL. As the 'Gulf Coast Grappling Club' begins their journey, we will be here in full support. We are still ironing out some of the details in regards to a full fledged partnership. Lars signed an exclusive contract with the 'WCWA' back in December of 2018, and there is still some binding language within that contract. More information in regards to this situation will be made public in the coming weeks.
As we draw closer to the conclusion of 2019 - we also draw close to the 1 year anniversary of the North American Wrestling Council. As such, I think that we ought to celebrate by hosting a wrestling show that will alter the landscape of our sport. I am here to officially announce that the NAWC will be hosting our anniversary show at the Copper Box arena in London England on December 21st, 2019. Crown Jewel Wrestling has lead the charge in the United Kingdom, and their fans have been campaigning to host an event of this magnitude. The event will be headlined by a North American Championship match between Oxford Osland and Robbie Farside. The World Beaters will put their North American Tag Team Championships on-the-line against the Midwest Tag Team Champions; Technical Authority should Kenneth Marshall be medically cleared to compete. The North American Cruiserweight Championship will be up for grabs when Dan Patterson defends the championship against The Crown Jewel Champion - Boom Boom Empire.
We will be sure to announce more matches as we draw closer to the event. Being chosen to compete at this event should be considered a compliment to the hard-work each individual has put forth throughout the year. As we head into 2020, I can honestly say that I am over-joyed with the growth and development of this organization. We are only getting started, and we appreciate those who have supported this venture since it's inception.
Thank you.
Sincerely,
Matthew Saunders
