The following NAWC Event took place in Toronto, ON @ The Ted Reeve Arena.
--
You could hear the buzz from the arena from the parking lot, which is exactly where are currently. We watch as Kenneth Marshall closes the trunk of his rental car after he grabs his duffle bag. As Marshall is about to open the large steel door to enter the arena, he’s blindsided by Wayne Sherlock and Allan Joseph. The duo collectively known as I-69 waste little time in delivering a beatdown. Marshall does his best to fight back, but the numbers game quickly catches up with him. The ‘killshot’ in this conflict was when Joseph held Marshall’s right leg in place, so that Sherlock could slam the heavy door on it over and over. Four straight unprotected shots to his knee left Marshall howling in pain.
Members of NAWC security heard the commotion and did their best to break up the attack. By the time they arrived on the scene, it was too late. One of the members of security took out his radio, and was communicating with Jon Smith. A few moments passed before Jon walked out to the parking lot, and saw the paramedics dealing with Marshall’s injury.
Jon Smith: “What happened out here? Who did this?”
Security: “It looked like Osland’s guys. I can’t say for sure, as they were high-tailing it out of dodge when we arrived.”
Smith walked over to Marshall who was being attended to. He asked him the question direcrtly.
Jon Smith: “Kenneth, who did this to you?”
Marshall looked up at Smith with a snarl. If looks could kill, he’d be dead. Marshall just shook his head in disgust.
Marshall: “Another wonderful start to an NAWC event. I’ve been looking forward to this for months...”
Jon Smith: “Listen, my apologies. The event staff will take care of you, I’ll handle things from here.”
Jon’s reassurance doesn’t seem to calm Marshall down at all. But how could it? Jon walked back into the arena with his cell phone in hand. He looked down, dialed a phone number.
Jon: “Hey, it’s me. Are you still in town?”
[…]
Jon: “The show hasn’t even started and I’m already dealing with a bunch of drama. I need you and your boys to come to venue. If nothing else, I need you to monitor Osland and his cronies. Something tells me this might just be the beginning…”

Midwestern Showdown
Edgar Delgado, Manuel Mayorga, Santiago Ortega & Death Adder
vs.
Crossfire, Aaron 'Chico' Vasquez, Esteban Fuentes & Shane Severe
--
Tensions were at an all-time high as this match was set to get underway. 'Bloodline' had used every trick in the book to stay one step ahead of their adversaries from the moment Edgar Delgado declared himself the leader of the group. Across the ring from his group, the other four men were seething. The match got underway with Santiago Ortega and Crossfire. Crossfire has earned the right to call himself the number one contender to Edgar Delgado’s Midwest Championship. Crossfire’s reputation as an alpha dog precedes him. From the moment the bell sounded, Crossfire was all over Ortega in a one-sided beatdown.
Ortega did his best to fight back, but it was to no avail. When Ortega got tossed near his corner, he asked for the tag, but his partners seemed reluctant. After a moment of delay, Edgar Delgado accepted the tag and walked into the ring with a ‘let me show you how it’s done’ attitude. The two men traded shots, with Delgado eventually raked the eyes, and pushing Crossfire back into their corner. This is where Death Adder and Mayorga took turns chopping Crossfire as hard as they could. Delgado showed strength by slamming Crossfire to the mat, before climbing to the top rope. Delgado looked to execute a moonsault, but Crossfire moved out of the way.
The crowd popped as Crossfire made the hot tag to Aaron Vasquez, and Vasquez took solace in lighting up everyone in his path with vicious strikes. Vasquez would eventually pair off with Manuel Mayorga who was now the legal man. Delgado could be heard saying ‘remember our plan’. It was as if Mayorga snapped into a trance, as he suddenly became less interested in wrestling the match, and more intent on carrying this brawl to the outside of the ring.
The two men spilled onto the concrete floor, where Mayorga irish whipped Vasquez into the steel steps. Vasquez fired up, and clocked Mayorga with a roaring elbow. These two street tough individuals started throwing their best shots at one and other with extreme force, daring the other man to take a step back. Neither man would budge. In the interim, the referee’s count had reached 10, and thus causing both men to be counted out.
Aaron Vasquez and Manuel Mayorga were both eliminated via Double Countout.
Delgado shouted words of encouragement, as it seemed as though this was part of their plan to begin with. Isolate Vasquez by any means, and remove him as a threat – even if it comes at the cost of one of your own men. Mayorga being the loyal soldier that he is, carried out his orders without hesitation.
Delgado then told Ortega to get back into the ring. Knowing that Santiago Ortega is blessed as a high flying wrestler with a high degree of endurance, it would make sense that he would be chosen to do a lot of the ground work in this contest. Esteban Fuentes entered the contest and was doing his best to regain momentum for his squad. Fuentes was on fire and kept the control, until he tagged off to Shane Severe. Severe kept the offence going until a blind tag made by Ortega to Death Adder caused some confusion. Before Severe realized it, Adder had sprung into action and executed a nasty Asai DDT. The blindside attack is one of the toughest to defend – and this proved to be true, as Death Adder held Severe down for the thee count.
Shane Severe was Eliminated by Death Adder
Death Adder stayed in the ring and called Crossfire to come and be next. Crossfire obliged, and the fight was on. Death Adder wowed the crowd was his ability to give up size, but not compromise his technical prowess. The fact that he was holding his own with a many who had over 60 pounds of weight on him, was truly remarkable.
Adder was able to sweep Crossfire’s legs, before making the tag to Ortega. Ortega hit the top rope and came off with a double knee strike that landed across Crossfire’s chest/sternum area. This resulted in a two count. Fuentes was shout encouragement, looking to get back into the match and offer some assistance.
Ortega went for a tornado DDT, which Crossfire blocked. The brute launched Ortega airborne, before sending him crashing to the mat. Ortega went to the corner and tagged Delgado, but in the meantime Crossfire tagged Fuentes! ‘En Fuego’ was looking for payback for how Delgado seemingly stole his Midwest Championship from him, and he got in spades. Delgado wasn’t able to get any offence in, as Fuentes took the fight to him. Realizing that things were going south in a hurry, Death Adder entered the ring to cut Fuentes off, but Crossfire entered the ring started lacing Adder with heavy shots. Ortega went to the time keepers table and grabbed a steel folding chair. He entered the ring and horse collared Fuentes with it!! The referee called for the bell, as he had no choice but to disqualify Santiago Ortega for his actions.
Santiago Ortega was eliminated via Disqualification
The crowd roared, seeing that it would now be 2 on 2. But would it? The damage was done! Fuentes was out cold with a steel folding chair wrapped around his neck. Delgado went to the top rope and came off with a beautiful moonsault. He looked at the referee and told him to make the count. The referee had to comply, as both men were legal. The three count was academic.
Esteban Fuentes was eliminated by Edgar Delgado
This left the situation as 2 vs 1, with Crossfire going at it alone against Delgado and Death Adder. Death Adder seemed to be fitting in seamlessly with Bloodline, and his decision to join them in this match hasn’t got undetected by Gran Barbaro and the rest of Manos Del Muerte. Death Adder seemed to be the point man when it came to strategy, and was saved from getting himself disqualified and counted out with the mind that his experience would help elevate Bloodline in this match.
A lot has been made of Death Adder seemingly falling to number 3 within the ranks of Manos Del Muerte- but is it possible that Delgado is offering him a co-captaincy placement within his organization? The way the two men communicated and executed their double team efforts – it was only a matter of time before they wore Crossfire down. Crossfire in any 1 on 1 situation is a scary sight – but the fact that the numbers came into play, really tilted the edge towards Bloodline. The final pinfall would come after an Asai DDT from Death Adder, followed by a perfectly executed shooting star press from Delgado. Delgado hooked the leg, and got the three count. After the match was over, Delgado could be heard talking to the fans at ringside. ‘Now that’s how you execute a gameplan from start to finish.’
Crossfire was eliminated by Edgar Delgado
Winners: Death Adder & Edgar Delgado – (22:52)

Imperial Crown Tag Team Championship
The Shining Stars(c) [Kano Ito & Tetsu Kondo]
vs.
The Shooters Club [Lance Romance & KUMA]
--
Our sole tag team match of the evening was set to be a grudge match. The Shooters Club have been considered the number two ranked tag team in Northern Pro Wrestling since they finished second place in the Imperial Crown Tag League this past summer. Ever since they fell short, they’ve been doing all they could to hunt down the current champions – The Shining Stars. Sato Watanabe warned the wrestling world that he would be recruiting two of the very brightest stars from his homeland, and bringing them to North America to show western culture that true world class wrestlers look like. In doing so, Sato declared that he would show the world that ‘true discipline’ looks like, as not only were his men talented, but they lived the wrestling lifestyle to its fullest.
A month ago, The Shooters Club were able to gain access to the locker room of the Shining Stars, and they attacked them. This attack forced Ito & Kondo out of action for a few weeks. Once they were fully healed, The Shining Stars made a surprise visit to the Shooters Club during the Canadian Heritage Championship tournament. While it might seem as though things are now ‘even’ on paper – the only way to truly settle the score, would be to do so inside of the ring, where the lights are brightest and with the Imperial Crown Tag Team Championships on the line.
This would be a make or break opportunity for The Shooters Club. After having fallen short in the past – this would have to be classified as their final legit opportunity to wrestle the championships away from the challengers. As the competition continues to heat up in Northern Pro Wrestling, the top challenger spot is definitely in jeopardy. The winner of this match could potentially have the inside track to a future match with the World Beaters and a shot at the North American Tag Team Championships. Although the Shining Stars received a shot at the Battle of Baltimore, a victory would re-establish them as one of the top tag teams throughout the NAWC, and perhaps put them to the front of the line behind only ‘Technical Authority.’
Sato Watanabe kept a close eye on Malek Fredericks throughout the encounter, knowing that The Shooters Club thrive on using their numbers to their advantage. Watanabe only had to feign interest in attacking Fredericks, and that was enough to keep him at bay. Inside of the ring, the two teams have become so familiar with one and other, that it took awhile for either side to truly establish any sort of control for long periods of time. Eventually, KUMA’s size and strength overwhelmed Kano Ito. Ito was on the defensive, but still absorbed multiple heavy blows for his opponents. A superkick from Lance Romance earned The Shooters Club a nearfall. The crowd looked on as if they were watching a movie, and didn’t want to disturb the action.
Ito’s ability to be elusive served him well, as he was able to get away from Romance, and make a tag to Tetsu Kondo, who raged forward like an angry bull. Kondo grabbed Romance, and executed a belly to belly suplex. KUMA entered the ring, and he was caught with a belly to belly suplex for his troubles. The crowd couldn’t believe that Kondo had the strength to execute the move – as it rocked the ring with impact.
Malek Fredericks got up on the apron, but before he could swing, Watanabe was behind him, and pulled him right off the apron. Malek’s head collided with the apron. He seemed momentarily blinded, and took a wild swing, to which Watanabe calmly stepped out of his range before destroying him with the nastiest knife edge chop you’ll ever see. The impact flattened Fredericks right on the spot.
Back In the ring ,the referee was doing his best to restore order. Just as he was about to force KUMA out of the ring, Kondo took care of that with a running clothesline, that sent KUMA through the ropes. Kano Ito picked Lance Romance up and did a 360 degree michinoku driver, and planted Romance head first into the mat. He held on, and hooked the leg to secure the three count.
Winners: The Shining Stars [Kano Ito & Tetsu Kondo] – (14:36)

[Post Match]
As the Shooters Club walk through the curtain backstage, you can sense there is a little dissention within the ranks. Each man seems to be pleading their respective cases to the other members of the group, hoping to not be taking full blame for their short-comings this evening. As they walk, they brush past Bloodline, who are having the opposite type of conversation. In fact, we can overhear Delgado congratulating his crew on a job well done. They divided, they conquered, and they kept their assets strong.
As the two factions brush past one and other for the first time, emotions run a little higher than expected. KUMA looks like he’s ready to take on everyone. Fredericks looks Delgado in the eye before speaking.
Fredericks: “Cute speech… Bravo. You and your boys were able to beat a bunch of individuals who were teaming together for the first time.”
Delgado: “I’m sorry, who are you?”
Delgado smirks, and we’re left to assume that because the Shooters Club aren’t on Bloodline’s radar, Delgado truly has no idea who they are.
KUMA: “I’ll show you who we are.”
And like that, KUMA lunged at Mayorga, grabbing him his neck and slamming him into the wall. Ortega and Romance square off and the right hands are flowing. Fredericks and Delgado square off, as the two leaders aren’t willing to back down from one and other.
The only component that wasn’t accounted for was Death Adder, the true wildcard. Delgado was rewarding his men for sacrificing themselves for the greater good of the team in a private conversation. The Shooters Club were unaware of Death Adder still being close by. Adder rushed into the scene and his presence caused Fredericks, KUMA and Romance to think better of this situation. While it took some force to remove KUMA from the fight, eventually they were able to do so.
Our shot went back to the arena once The Shooters Club thought better of continuing to take out their frustrations on a faction that seemed more cohesive than ever before.

The Crown Jewel Showdown
Cyprian, Ivan ‘The Terrible’ Nowak, Oliver Tarquin Monroe & Lord Sewell
vs.
Broadside, Tyler Povey, Rupture & Schism
--
The team of Broadside, Povey, Rupture and Schism presented themselves as a united front as they made their way out adorned in eyepatches and wearing vests to look like their captain. Their opponents meanwhile entered separately, save for Gentleman’s Agreement, who came out together to round out the team.
Tyler Povey opted to start the match for his team against Monroe, who he swiftly got the better of and sent scurrying to tag in Lord Sewell. Schism begged for the tag and got just what he wanted to allow him to take Sewell down and send him searching for higher ground. Then came Ivan Nowak, who used his power to put a stop to Schism’s offense, but couldn’t stop both members of Fracture after Rupture tagged in. Both men sent Ivan to the outside with a double dropkick, then fought off Gentleman’s Agreement who entered the ring in an attempt to blindside the luchadors.
Both members of Gentleman’s agreement found themselves being clotheslined over the top to the outside by Fracture, who then hit the ropes and hit simultaneous tope con hilos on Nowak, Monroe and Lord Sewell. Tyler Povey then wanted to get in on the action and launched over the top onto all three with a corkscrew plancha!
Back in the ring though, that’s where Broadside and Cyprian now found themselves staring across at one another. The draw of the other was too strong and they soon foundselves trading blows in the middle of the ring. Broadside knocked Cyprian back into the ropes and clotheslined him over the top. Both men landed on their feet and continued to trade right hands.
Being the legal man, Rupture and Schism worked with Tyler Povey to send Ivan Nowk back into the ring where Rupture covered him for a one count before Nowak powered out of the fall. Rupture made the tag to Schism and the two delivered a somersault senton and leg drop to Nowak before another cover, only for Nowak to power out at one again! Schism tried to follow up with a standing moonsault, but Nowak got his knees up and blocked the attempt.
On the outside of the ring Cyprian and Broadside were still brawling. Broadside had knocked Cyprian back into the ring post and charged in, only for Cyprian to move out of the way and leave The Pirate from Penzance with nothing to connect with but steel. Nowak spotted a stunned Broadside on the outside and tossed the winded Schism over the top rope and down onto his partner!
Rupture took exception to seeing his tag team partner cast the outside so roughly and entered the ring with a springboard only to be swatted out of the air by a headbutt to the chest from Nowak. Cyprian rolled Schism back into the ring for Nowak to deliver a Warhammer and eliminate the first participant from Team Broadside!
As he had already brought himself into the ring, Rupture was up next on the chopping block as Nowak grabbed him and slammed him onto Schism before he could roll out of the ring. Nowak made the tag to Oliver Tarquin Monroe, who immediately went to work on isolating Rupture and exchanged quick tags with Lord Sewell to maintain a steady, continued assault on their recent rival. Rupture tried to rally and threw some elbows into Sewell’s midsection at one point, but Lord Sewell grabbed a handful of Rupture’s mask and slammed him backwards onto the mat to cut that out. It didn’t take long for Gentleman’s Agreement to wear down Rupture and after a double reverse suplex Lord Sewell locked Rupture in the Naval Command to submit the second member of Fracture!
That left Tyler Povey and Broadside, who had just recovered from being wiped out by a flying luchador, down two to four, and Team Cyprian knew just how good things were going for them. Povey voluntarily got in the ring and took the fight to Lord Sewell, who found himself on the back foot to the Crown Jewel Wrestling Television Champion and back tracked to the corner to tag in the captain of his team.
Povey and Cyprian had bad blood between them from a few months previously and that came bubbling to the surface quickly as Tyler went after the big man before he could even step in the ring. Cyprian covered up to protect himself while Tyler elbowed both members of Gentleman’s Agreement off the apron and then caught Nowak with a right hand. He took Cyprian down with a bulldog before tagging in Broadside, who hit a running senton to the spine of Cyprian.
Broadside followed up by sending Cyprian into the corner and hit him with a running splash, then hit the ropes and came back with a cannonball to the captain for the cover, only for the referee to be distracted by Ivan Nowak trying to get into the ring! Broadside headed over to Nowak to get him out of the ring, but as he did both members of Gentleman’s Agreement slid into the ring. Monroe took Broadside’s leg out with a chopmblock while Lord Sewell returned the favour to Povey and knocked him off the apron before the two of them hit a double wheelbarrow facebuster on The Pirate from Penzance!
Nowak, Monroe and Sewell all vacated the ring while Cyprian grabbed Broadside by the throat and pulled him up to his feet. One chokeslam later and Broadside was being eliminated to leave Povey at the worst possible disadvantage.
Tyler took a moment to psych himself up before he slid into the ring where he exchanged blows with Cyprian and managed to get the upper hand over the big man to knock him back into the ropes. Irish whip and Cyprian reversed it to send Povey across the ring, but Tyler came back with a flying forearm that knocked Cyprian back against the ropes. Cyprian stumbled forwards into a stalling double underhook suplex and Povey covered him for the three!
After the shock elimination of the captain, Ivan Nowak blindsided Tyler Povey with an elbow to the back of the neck. Nowak lifted Tyler up for the Warhammer, but Povey slipped out and rolled Nowak up with a school boy! Monroe and Sewell both broke the count up at and assaulted their opponent before attempting a german suplex/clothesline combo, only Povey flipped out of the German Suplex annd landed on his feet. Monroe charged at Povey only to be sent over the top rope and top the outside, then Lord Sewell rushed in to take a kick to the midsection and a double underhook suplex for his troubles. Gentleman’s Agreement fled from the ring and Tyler turned into a headbutt to the bridge of the nose from Nowak who immediately delivered a Warhammer for the three count!
Result: Team Cyprian defeated Team Broadside (Survivors: Ivan ‘The Terible’ Nowak, Oliver Tarquin Monroe & Lord Sewell)

Crown Jewel Women's Championship
Lilith (c) [CJW]
vs.
Graysie Parker [FA]
vs.
Queen of Sorrow [A*P]
--
In her first title defence against anyone outside of Crown Jewel Wrestling, Lilith found herself up against two of the toughest competitors she’d ever faced in the form of Graysie Parker and Queen of Sorrow, and both proved to be more than a match for the woman who had headed up the Crown Jewel Wrestling Women’s division since the companies inception.
The match began in an unsurprising fashion as Graysie Parker became the target of both Queen of Sorrow and Lilith, her pure strength being the reason behind the big target on her back. Her two opponents seemed to be on the same page from the outset as well, with neither really trying to take the lead but both working together to, in Lilith’s case, eliminate Parker, and in Queen of Sorrow’s case, simply hurt the recent graduate.
Things took a turn however as Lilith attempted a slam on Parker, only to be unable to lift her. Graysie responded with a clubbing blow across the back and cast Lilith aside as Queen of Sorrow rushed in. Parker took QoS off of her feet with a uranage slam, then caught Lilith out of midair as she ran in with a cross body! Graysie threw Lilith with a fallaway slam that sent the champion half way across the ring and to the outside. Parker followed up with a running shoulder barge to Queen of Sorrow in the corner then sent her back into the ring with an exploder suplex!
Firmly in control, Parker caused more damage to Queen of Sorrow with a scoop slam then dropped a heavy leg across her chest for a one count. She looked to follow up, but got caught with a knee to the back of the head by a returning Lilith, who too her to the corner and lifted more knees into Parker’s midsection. Lilith called on Queen of Sorrow to come and help her lift Parker up onto the top rope where the two delivered a superplex and Lilith went for the cover.
And that’s when things devolved between Lilith and Queen of Sorrow as Queen of Sorrow grabbed Lilith by the hair, pulled her off of Parker and sent her through the ropes and shoulder first into the ring post. Lilith turned into a superkick to the jaw and a brainbuster followed that. Graysie Parker’s head poked up over the apron just high enough for Queen of Sorrow to take her out with a running boot through the ropes, then she turned back to Lilith and focused on her shoulder and arm by twisting it up and bent her other arm back so that her shoulder blades were practically overlapping, let alone touching.
Lilith refused to give up, but she had no escape from the hold and her only saving grace came in the form of Graysie Parker who grabbed Queen of Sorrow and dropped her with a reverse DDT. Unfortunately for Lilith though, that just caused her arms to get snapped even closed together and caused her even more pain.
With Lilith out of commission the contest turned into a one on one as Parker and Queen of Sorrow did battle between themselves. Parker gained the early advantage with a deadlift german suplex that got her a two count, then a shoulder block followed by a rolling senton, but it was a flapjack dropped into a spinebuster that got her the nearest fall to that point as Queen of Sorrow barely got her shoulder off the mat at 2 and nine tenths.
Graysie tried to stay on top of Queen of Sorrow with a gutwrench lift into a powerbomb, but Queen of Sorrow reversed it with a hurricanrana. Then it was time for her to take control as she kicked Parker in the ribs and choked her on the bottom rope when she tried to get up. Queen of Sorrow took her opponent into the corner and lifted a foot into her throat before hitting the ropes and came back with an elbow strike to the head. Parker dropped to her butt in the corner and Queen of Sorrow hit the ropes again, but couldn’t follow up as Lilith charged in with a knee to the midsection to cut her off.
Lilith took all of her anger out on Queen of Sorrow with a northern lights suplex which she floated over into a second suplex. Lilith turned her attention to Graysie Parker and pulled her up from the corner before sending her across the ring. Parker stumbled out of the corner into a running knee from Lilith, who went for the cover and picked up a two count before Parker got her shoulder up! Lilith scrambled over to cover Queen of Sorrow but only managed another two then pounded on the mat in frustration over not being able to retain her title.
Lilith quickly got over her tantrum and turned back to Parker who was getting to her feet. She lifted a few kicks into her chest and ribs and pushed her back to the corner where she used the second rope to get some height and tried to kick Parker in the head, but Graysie caught her, ran her forwards and threw her in a powerbomb into Queen of Sorrow!
Parker picked Lilith up and steadied her in the middle of the ring before hitting the ropes and came back witha clothesline, but Lilith ducked the attempt, hit the ropes herself and caught Parker with a Yakuza Kick square in the jaw! Lilith slumped to one knee and looked as though she were about to lean in to cover Parker when Queen of Sorrow came from nowhere with the Angel Lust!
Queen of Sorrow collapsed on top of Lillith for a two count when the bell rang out!
Graysie Parker vs. Queen of Sorrow vs. Lilith ended in a time limit draw (20:00)

[Backstage]
We flash backstage to Kenneth Marshall having his knee checked by the doctor’s. His tag team partner and former rival; Alec Kirkland stands beside him looking on with concern. We overhear Kenneth say that he’s ‘good enough’ to wrestle tonight. Just wrap it up and give me a shot. There is no way I’m going to miss out on this opportunity.
Our scene opens at the entrance where Marshall was attacked. A moment passes, before Parker Smith walks through the doors. Right behind him are Tyson Brewer and Brinley Bishop. The crowd lets out a collective ‘ohhhhhh’, at the sight of these men. They walk forward until they meet up with Parker’s brother; Jon.
Parker: “You asked and we came through. Now what?”
Bishop and Brewer stand shoulder to shoulder, looking like an elite security team for one of the most famous celebrities in the world.
Jon: “I can’t have Oxford Osland poisoning this show. He’s already put our main event in jeopardy, and I can’t allow for anymore hiccups.”
At the very sound of Osland’s name – we could see Brinley Bishop’s body language change. He went from someone who wanted to help, to someone who now had an agenda.
Bishop: “I know a thing or two about Oxford Osland. As you know, he and I don’t exactly see eye to eye. As for his boys – well, they put me out of action for a couple of months earlier this year. Looks like they’re at it again.”
Brewer: “So you’re saying you want us to make sure this doesn’t happen again?
[...]
Brewer: "What’s in it for us?”
Jon: “This isn't a negotiation. I would've thought you two boys would be itching for action tonight. So let's see what you've got. If you two are successful in keeping things in check around here… Well, then we will set up a meeting in my office next week to discuss next steps.”
Brewer likes the sounds of this. Bishop just can’t help but remain fixated on destroying Oxford Osland once and for all. Parker takes a quick look at the duo he has taken under his wing, and speaks.
Parker: “Looks like the boys are willing to comply. This should be fun.”
Jon and Parker exchange a handshake and hug before Parker leads Bishop and Brewer towards the locker room area.

Open Challenge
Manos Del Muerte [Gran Barbaro, Hidealgo 19, Luz Rojo & Electric Head]
vs.
TBD
--
The evening continued with what many NAWC fans have been anticipating since it was announced last month. The legendary Manos Del Muerte group let it be known that they planned to be at Elimination Games, and that they didn't care who opposed them. Gran Barbaro has been on a rampage as of late, seemingly doing everything within his power to amp up the chaos wherever 'Manos' can be found. This challenge was a dare, a taunt to anyone who thought they had the fortitude to meet them in the middle of the ring. As each member of the group made their way to the ring, the crowd looked on in awe, as their presence tends to bring forth a level of fear and respect. As the group entered the ring, Gran Barbaro took centre stage. He stood a step in front of the rest of the group - which this incarnation consisted of Hidealgo 19, Electric Head and Luz Rojo. Their presence was almost militant, as the group stood tall, with their chests out.
Gran Barbaro took a mic, and started to remind the crowd of their recent dominance in A*P. Barbaro said they're known for shutting down arenas, and aren't above doing that very thing right here, right now. Barbaro said he cared very little for the pageantry of tonight's event, and that this was their opportunity to remind the wrestling world who the dominant force really was. Barbaro slapped Electic Head on the chest, before running through a list of his accomplishments. Barbaro walked over to Hidealgo 19, and while looking him in the eye did his best to add fuel to his fire. Hidealgo 19 looked like he was ready for a fight, and the sooner it came his way the better. Luz Rojo stood amongst the group, cold, calculated and ready to carry out orders.
As the group patiently waited for anyone to come their way, there was nothing but void of the challenge the Manos were seeking. Gran Barbaro stood proudly with his chest extended - like the leader of a 'pride' who was claiming the arena to be their territory. Who was going to argue with them? The thought of walking into an uncertain situation with a group like Manos Del Muerte, doesn't seem to resonate as positive experience.
Suddenly, an unrecognizable face enters the fray. The person happens to be a middle-aged male, in a three-piece suit. The man's confidence seemed to grow with each step forward with mic in hand. The man holds up his free hand to the Manos as if to say he comes in peace. The unknown man relays the message that he’s “obviously not here to compete”. Knowing how dangerous Manos Del Muerte can be, the man shows off his intelligence by keeping his distance. The man goes on to state that he's aware of who Manos Del Muerte are, and that he's impressed by their numerous accomplishments throughout the years.
This somewhat intrigues Gran Barbaro who decided to allow the man to approach the ring. The others were bemused by this unknown guy comments and wanted him to “cut to the chase already”. While doing so, he soon introduces himself as Rich Lansing; sports agent, one of the most talented men out there today and goes on to say that he’s been called “The Manager of all Managers”. Rich says while it seems that no “flippy featherweight fools” are willing to accept their challenge, how about they consider his proposal.
Before Rich could enter the ring to elaborate further, four men jumped over the guardrails positioned behind the Manos Stable while going completely undetected. Rich feigns like he's about to actually make his proposal - but suddenly what was once a potential business proposal has turned into a complete ambush. With all of their attention solely on Mr. Lansing, they had long forgotten about the potential danger that could be lingering. It only took a moment for the audience to realize that this attack was pre-meditated, and judging from the smirk planted all over Rich Lansing's face - he was the mastermind.
The Four men involved in this mugging had a size and strength advantage at first glance. Collectively, their look was gritty, and they brought the type of fight that Gran Barbaro has been looking for, but never thought he was receive. Before long, these four unidentified men had succeeded in knocking all four members to the mat. The plan of attack was to divide and conquer in the most efficient way possible. The plan started to take shape when one of the men isolated Luz Rojo, and through her outside of the ring. Electric head lifted his head ever so slightly, to see his daughter about to be on the receiving end of a 2 on 1 attack. Electric Head rolled out of the ring to even the odds. Along with Luz, Electric Head showcased the fire that we've come accustomed to seeing. For a moment, the two of them were holding their own. But suddenly, the control changed, and the two unknown assailants were successful in keeping 'E.H' at bay long enough to forcefully whip Rojo into the guardrail. They turned their attention to Electric Head, who was ready to take both men on.
The Two of the guys started to execute some double team moves, showcasing their chemistry and cohesiveness. Meanwhile Gran Barbaro was going to war with a bearded man of European descent. This european man was wardriven, but Barbaro was equal to the task. Although Barbaro was lacking size, he's built like a mack truck, as this unknown assailant quickly learned that he was going to be this fight for the long haul.
One of the men brought Electric Head out of the ring and slammed him to the barricade. It seemed like it revived him in some form and brought fight back with repeated punches until was met with closed fists and uppercut. Luz Rojo, despite being hurt from the barricade previously, made a valiant effort to make the save until the same man used his size as a roadblock, prompting Luz to leap at him! Rojo hung on for dear life, before executing a hurracanrana out of nowhere! Hidealgo 19 had escaped the clutches of his attacker, and nailed the European gentleman with a running clothesline.
No one seemed like they could save Electric Head at this point of time. That was until Gran Barbaro rushed to his aid and executed a diving shoulder tackle, which bought his group sometime to recover. Rich Lansing then got up on the apron and looking to distract Gran Barbaro, so he could simmer down the heat behind his vengeance. It was here that the 'tag team duo' executed a double chop block that took Barbaro's legs out from underneath him.
The team then quickly shifted their attention to Electric Head, as they whipped him into the steel steps. They took a quick look at Rich Lansing, who appeared to encourage them to retreat with him up the aisle. In the meantime, Rich was motioning for the other two men to 'finish up' their brawling ways, and join them in the middle of the aisle.
Hidealgo 19 brought Luz Rojo and a battered Electric Head together in the middle of the ring, where they checked on Gran Barbaro - knowing that a double chop-block like that could cause some serious ligament damage.
Rich Lansing looked on, and couldn't have appeared more 'proud' of what he just orchestrated. Rich looked right into the camera and said that it was time Rich goes on to say that "What you all just witnessed right here and now was only the beginning." "All anyone is going to talk about tomorrow is going to be what we just did here tonight. Rich ended his rant by looking into the camera with his piercing eyes and saying "it's time to take pro-wrestling back to the “Golden Age.”
They all seemed to revel in the chaos that they had created. The fact that these four men willingly took this opportunity to attack one of the most feared stables in professional wrestling said a lot about 'how far they're willing to go to be successful in the NAWC'. They made sure to not stick around long enough for The MDM Manos to recuperate. In fact, Gran Barbaro got back to his feet with the help of Electric Head, and pointed directly in the direction of the unknown assailants. Gran Barbaro demanded they reveal who they were, and while they had chosen to do this. Rich Lansing could be seen smiling - and as his men left the ring area, it became apparent that they had no intentions of revealing any information.
In a surprising moment, some of the die hard fans of the NAWC encouraged Gran Barbaro and his crew to exact some revenge. If you know anything about Manos Del Muerte, you can guarantee that they won't let something like this slide.

[Backstage]
As we gear up for the Main Event, we are taken backstage once again. Parker Smith is with Brinley Bishop and Tyson Brewer. The three men knock on the locker room door of Oxford Osland. Osland opens the door, and in doing so, we see both Wayne Sherlock and Allan Joseph standing there as well.
Osland: “Pfft… What do you clowns want?”
This nearly costs Osland his life, as Parker looks ready to take him down and choke him out. Instead, he restrains himself – knowing full well how much is riding on this main event to be successful. Jon’s voice seems to be ever present in his ear.
Parker: “We’re here to keep an eye on I-69 for the rest of the night.”
This remark insults them.
Sherlock: “Keep an eye on us? You’re not our keeper. In fact, in case you haven’t noticed – we run things around here. For the past year, it’s been nothing but Oxford Osland and I-69 at the top of the marquee. We play by our own rules, and that isn’t going to change anytime soon.”
Brewer: “It’s nice to meet you two lads. I’m Tyson, and this is Brinley… and..
Before he can continue, Bishop grabs Sherlock by the collar and launches him into the hallway. Joseph gets the hint that he might be next, so he springs into action with a few shots intent on nailing Brewer. Brewer takes them in stride, before lining up a right hand that would make Mike Tyson blush. The shot catches Joseph on the chin, and completely slumps him.
Osland puts his hands up, as if to say that he doesn’t want any part of this. Now that Joseph has been subdued, we watch as Bishop takes Sherlocks back and locks in a rear-naked choke. Bishop holds onto it until Sherlock passes out. Parker’s eyes haven’t left Osland, knowing that this message needed to be sent.
Parker: “This could’ve gone so much smoother."
[...]
Parker: "Looks like our work here is done."
Brewer and Bishop have now turned their attention to Osland.
Osland: “Message received. For tonight only, I’ll give you all a pass. But if any of you ever step to me with that much bass in your voices again, you’ll regret it. Now if you’ll excuse me, I have thousands of fans to entertain, and a match to win.”
Osland stands firm, showing Bishop & Brewer some respect. Parker waves them off, and the trio exit out of the shot.

Main Event
The Champions Challenge
(The Champions)
Oxford Osland, Dan Patterson & The World Beaters (Dave Brown & Jason Thompson)
vs.
(The Challengers)
Robbie Farside, Boom Boom Empire & Technical Authority (Kenneth Marshall & Alec Kirkland)
--
The components in this match could prove to be explosive. Beyond the fact that this was a clear match where the champions were wrestling the top challengers for their respective championships - there was also some history between multiple wrestlers involved in the match. Robbie Farside and Boom Boom Empire are no strangers to one and other. Before their paths crossed in Crown Jewel Wrestling, the two men were actually tag team partners. As Farside would tell it, Boom Boom Empire was out to deceive and manipulate the fans. These two men find themselves in a position where they'll have to work together if they expect to be successful. Oxford Osland has a storied past with both Kenneth Marshall and Alec Kirkland. Kirkland has been lobbying for a North American Championship match for almost a year. A few months ago, it was finally made public knowledge that Oxford Osland paid Aaron Vasquez to prevent Alec Kirkland from advancing in the 'Crowning of a Champion' tournament. Alec Kirkland is the only man in the NAWC who holds a pinfall victory over Osland, which happened a week before the CofaC tournament took place.
After what happened earlier in the night, it was clear that Kenneth Marshall was favouring his knee. Another calculated plan laid out by Oxford Osland to prevent any threats to his reign from realizing the opportunity. Dan Patterson looked happy go lucky, as he stretched in the corner. Dan isn't the personality type that you would expect to get along with his three partners, and that should provide an interesting dynamic throughout the match. The World Beaters have been on an absolute tear for the past six months. With the tag team scene heating up, there will be no shortage of teams looking to get their hands on the champions as 2020 draws near.
The fans were on the edge of their seats as the bell sounded to get this match underway. Boom Boom Empire volunteered to start the match, which drew more admonishment from Robbie Farside, who called him a 'glory hog'. BBE shrugged it off, and looked to engage with Dan Patterson, who felt the opposite vibe form his team. Dan started the match by default, as his teammates all high-tailed out of the ring at the same time, leaving him to fend for himself as the match started. These two athletes put on a fantastic show for the audience, as the action was kept above the law, and each move and transition was met with defensive integrity from the other.
BBE was eventually take the lead after executing a couple of deep arm drag takedowns, and holding onto the arm and shoulder. As BBE took control, he was getting a verbal lashing from Robbie Farside in the corner. This caused Alec Kirkland to speak up and put Farside in his place. These two men have a history from their days in the House of Strong Style promotion and they've never gotten along. Marshall was stoic on the outside, studying Patterson's movements, knowing full well that he was 100%, so he would have to this is way through the match and use every 'tell' he could to his advantage.
Patterson was able to shake off BBE and make a quick tag to Oxford Osland. Osland looks insulted that Patterson slapped his hand without Osland 'telling him to do so'. Osland took a moment before entering the ring. The crowd stood to their feet, often wondering what it would be like for these two men to clash. Boom Boom Empire has long been considered one of the men who could realistically unseat Osland as the North American Champion if he were to be given a fair opportunity. But as we know, wherever Osland is, i-69 aren't far behind. As the two men locked up, BBE Pushed Osland back into the corner - a clean break followed, but Osland slapped BBE across the face. This fired BBE up, as he laid into Osland with some stiff chops, before snapping him over, and somersaulting from behind and snapping Osland's neck back. BBE smiled, before whipping Osland into his corner. Immediately Kirkland and Marshall took a few swings at the North American Champion, as both men would love to get a crack at him. Osland curled up in a fetal position, knowing that this might be the best one of defence. BBE tagged in Kirkland, and he looked as Osland as if he were a steak dinner. Kirkland picked Osland up and threw him backward with a release German Suplex. Kirkland walked over to Osland's corner and talked some smack to Dave Thompson. Thompson took a swing but missed.
Kirkland rushed Osland as he was getting back to his feet and blistered him with a Lariat that turned the champion inside out. Kirkland tagged Marshall, who hobbled into the ring, but used the crowds energy to fuel him. Marshall took Osland down with a double leg, before mounting him with ground and pound. Suddenly Marshall transitioned into his Dragon Sleeper submission. He had it locked in tightly, and for a moment it looked as though Osland might be the first man elimination in the match. That was until Jason Brown ran into the ring and clipped Marshall's knee once again! Marshall immediately let go of the hold, and hit the mat while grabbing his knee in pain. The referee looked on, knowing full well what happened to him earlier in the evening. Marshall was rolling around the ring in pain, as it appeared as though his knee might've been hanging on by a thread, and this was the blow that took it over the edge. Osland scurried away on the mat, and sat in his corner. The referee told Marshall to get up and show him that he could stand on his right leg. Marshall gingerly got to his feet, and attempted to put pressure on his right knee. As soon as he did, he hit the mat again in pain. The referee started to wave his hands over his head, as if to say that Kenneth Marshall could no longer compete! The referee called for the medics to come from the back. The match was officially on hold, until the medics could get Marshall out of the ring. Marshall's teammates looked on. Kirkland looked concerned, and nearly left the match to support his fallen partner. BBE offered a few words of encouragement as the medics took Marshall backstage.
Kenneth Marshall has been eliminated via referee stoppage
Osland looked up at Jason Brown, and slapped his hand. The referee called it a tag, and one half of the World Beaters would make his first 'legal' appearance in the contest. Brown waited for someone from the other team to enter. Kirkland and Boom Boom encouraged Robbie Farside to step up, but he pretended to ignore them. So Alec Kirkland decided to enter and try to regain some momentum for his team. Kirkland showcased his talent by winning the early exchanges with Brown, but the tag team specialist cut off the ring, and pushed Kirkland into his corner, where he made a blind tag to his partner Dave Thompson. The World Beaters executed a double shoulder tackle - before setting up Kirkland for a high/low attack, which they executed perfectly. Thomson picked Kirkland up, and power slammed him down to the mat hard. Osland was on the outside begging for a chance to get into the ring. Thompson obliged and tagged in the North American Champion. Now that Kirkland was at a disadvantage, it was the perfect time for Osland to re-enter the match and do some damage. A Bridging back suplex pin was a highlight, as the move picked up a two count.
The crowd was willing Kirkland to fight back. Osland mocked the crowd, as he took Kirkland over with a Back Drop Suplex, and another near fall. Osland walked around the ring like he owned it. With each pompous step forward, he mocked the fallen Kirkland, while talking smack to Boom Boom Empire. Osland went for a vertical suplex, to which Kirkland escaped, before blindsiding Osland with a spinning back elbow strike. Osland stood there stunned, as Kirkland bounced off the ropes and connected with a vicious spinning heel kick. His momentum carried him towards his corner, where he tagged Boom Boom Empire! The hot tag had the crowd on their feet. BBE backed Osland up into the corner with strikes, before a running hip toss sent Osland half way across the ring. Osland knew he didn't want any part of Boom Boom, so he crawled to his corner and tagged Dan Patterson into the match. Patterson and BBE would meet again and once again put on a clinic. Only this time, Boom Boom Empire planted Patterson with a Michinoku Driver, before leaping to the rope... He Nailed Patterson with his version of the Shooting Star Press. Before Boom Boom could make the cover, Robbie Farside slapped his back, entering the ring as the legal man. Farside brushed past Boom Boom, before picked Patterson up and driving him down to the mat with a nasty double arm DDT. Farside rolled Patterson over, and the referee counted to three!
Dan Patterson was Eliminated by Robbie Farside
Farside sprung to his feet and started to gloat. He taunted Boom Boom, which brought him into the ring. Boom Boom went nose to nose with Farside, and it seemed as though that after weeks of being taunted, Boom Boom had enough. The referee did his best to get in between the two men, but to no avail! Before long, Farside and Boom Boom were trading lefts and rights before Farside speared Boom Boom out of the ring. His momentum carried the two of them to the area floor where their battle continued. The referee was trying to restore order, but both men shoved the referee to the ground so they could continue their fight.
The referee tried once again to get in between them, but he ended up taking punches from both men who seemed oblivious to his attempts at restoring order. Boom Boom seemed to get the upper hand on Farside, but Robbie would rake his eyes and whip him into the guardrail. The referee got back to his feet and called for the bell. He went over to the time keeper and ring announcer and declared that both Boom Boom Empire and Robbie Farside had been disqualified for their actions.
Robbie Farside and Boom Boom Empire were eliminated via Disqualification
As the announcement was being made - the former tag team partners were still brawling up the aisle. Boom Boom grabbed a beer from one of the fans and tossed it in Farside's face! The crowd was hot for the brawl, but this officially left Alec Kirkland as the lone member of the challengers team, and he would have to defeat three men from the champion's side to earn the victory. Eventually the referee was able to focus on the match, and told both sides that he wouldn't tolerate this kind of behaviour.
Osland whispered instructions to Thompson and Brown, as the three men looked like a bunch of hyenas who were about to circle their helpless prey. Kirkland didn't flinch, as he put on his strongest front before rushing the opposite corner and executing a diving splash to Jason Brown. He popped back and started laying into Thompson and Osland with stiff shots. Kirkland was on fire, he took Jason Brown down with a gut wrench suplex, before climbing to the second rope and coming off with a leg drop. He went for the cover, but only got a two count. Kirkland got to his feet and rushed Osland, shoving him off the apron. Thompson swung, but Kirkland ducked before super kicking Thompson off the apron. Ashe turned, he was blindsided by Jason Brown, as the numbers game proved to be a little too much. Kirkland would continue to fight valiantly, but he wasn't really ever able to string together offence for long periods of time. In fact, Brown and Thompson would make frequent tags in and out, and take turns working Kirkland over. Osland stood on the apron with a smile on his face, encouraging the North American Tag Team Champions to do what it is they do best.
A clothelines/german suplex combo was a highlight, which earned The World Beaters a near fall. Another quick tag, followed by a double power bomb looked to spell the end for Kirkland, but he was defiant and rolled his shoulder before the referee could count to three. The fans willed Kirkland as much as they could, but it was clear he was starting to fade. After about six minutes of staying on the apron, Osland finally asked to be tagged in. He took a prone Alec Kirkland and took him over with a Nasty Backdrop Driver. Osland has been known to finish his opponents with that very move on multiple occasions. Instead of going for the cover, Osland brought the tag team champions in once again. Brown locked on his crossfire submission while Thompson took a hold of Kirkland's leg and wrenched it. The referee counted to five, and threaten disqualification, but the World Beaters would relinquish the hold in time. Kirkland was struggling to move on the mat, as the Champions looked on with glee. The finish came when Osland and the World Beaters executed a triple power bomb on Kirkland, to which Thompson made the final cover to secure the win for the Champions team.
Alec Kirkland was eliminated via Triple Powerbomb
Winners: The World Beaters(c) (Jason Brown & Dave Thompson) & Oxford Osland(c)
--
The three champions stood in the middle of the ring, united. The referee went to the time keeper and asked for their respective championship titles. Osland took the North American Championship and put it around his waist - while the World Beaters took their North American Tag Championships and draped them over their shoulders. The three men posed in the ring, as the show went off the air.

The three champions stood in the middle of the ring, united. The referee went to the time keeper and asked for their respective championship titles. Osland took the North American Championship and put it around his waist - while the World Beaters took their North American Tag Championships and draped them over their shoulders. The three men posed in the ring, as the show went off the air.
