Our show opens with Brinely Bishop and Tyson Brewer exiting a large white Lincoln navigator SUV. The two don’t say anything, they just grab their respective bags, before entering the arena through the backdoor. When they walk inside, they’re greeted by Parker Smith.
Parker: “It’s nice to see you two are taking this seriously. Travelling together is an ode to the old school. What better way to strengthen this union, then to rely on one and other both in and out of the ring.”
Brewer: “We want a match tonight against Spin Cycle.”
Bishop doesn’t say anything, he just nods his head in agreement. Parker realizes that these two want to get right down to business, and he can respect that.
Parker: “I’m already a step ahead of you. I spoke to my brother last night, and I told him I wanted to see you two wrestle Spin Cycle tonight. I know they’re on your radar based on their treatment of you both in the battle royal.”
Bishop: “We’re ready to break them in half.”
Parker smiles, before switching the subject.
Parker: “That’s the spirit. Now, follow me. I’ve found you boys a separate locker room from the rest of the boys.”
And with that, Parker leads Bishop and Brewer down a long hallway towards their locker room.

Bloodline (Mayorga & Ortega) vs. Crossfire & Aaron Vasquez
--
This match was bound to take place sooner or later. With the recent announcement that it will be Bloodline taking on Vasquez/Crossfire/Fuentes/Severe at Elimination games, these factions would be seeing a lot of eachother in the coming weeks.
Aaron Vasquez surprised a lot of people when he took to aid Crossfire from the 3 on 1 beatdown he was walking into at the hands of Bloodline a few weeks ago. Now, the two rivals find themselves having to trust one and other for greater good of their careers.
Manuel Mayorga reminds many of a younger version of Vasquez, and these two alpha dogs have no problem showcasing their bravado in the ring. As the match wore on, Mayorga and Vasquez constantly found themselves trying to blast the other with their stiffest shots. When Ortega was in the ring, he relied more on a fast paced, high impact style.
The Bloodline duo showcased some excellent chemistry, as they used double team moves on Vasquez to keep control of the match. Aaron Vasquez is as tough as they come, so when he got the opportunity for pay back, he really got his licks in. After reversing a double vertical suplex, Vasquez nailed both men with discus elbows, before diving into his corner and tagging Crossfire. The big Hawaiian has had his fair share of run ins with these two over the past few weeks, so he was really laying in his shots.
Crossfire nailed Mayorga with a big samoan drop, before hitting Ortega with a superkick. The big man was showcasing his agility for a man of his size. The crowd was hot for the comeback, and it seemed like they were witnessing a very powerful duo being formed right before their eyes. Vasquez was back to his feet, and he tossed Mayorga out of the ring. The two pitbulls started to brawl around ringside. Ortega was getting back to his feet, but he was taken down with a vicious belly to belly slam – followed by a nasty Uranage! The impact shook the ring, as Crossfire held for the pinfall, to which the referee counted to 3.
Winners: Aaron Vasquez and Crossfire (13:42) via Uranage
The two former rivals came together in the middle of the ring and bumped fists. The crowd loved it, as they believed in this duo, and they could see them causing Bloodline a lot of grief going forward.

Backstage, we watch as Kenneth Marshall and Alec Kirkland stand there with the Midwest Tag Team Championships around their waists. The two Canadian Grapplers have come along way from their days in the Maritimes, to now being considered the number one contenders to the NAWC Tag Team Championships. Alec takes the lead in this interview, while Kenneth rubs his hands together looking ready to fight anything that moves.
Kirkland: “For the past six months, we’ve proven to be the best tag team in the NAWC. Proof of which, is that we will be standing across the ring from The World Beaters at Elimination games four weeks from now. I’ve been to war with this man to my right on many occasions, so I know what he’s capable of. There isn’t a doubt in my mind that he and I have what it takes to dethrone the current champions, and etch our name into the lore of the NAWC as the top tag team.”
[…]
Kirkland: “You see, we’re watching everyone all of the time. Things are starting to heat up here in Midwestern Pro. You’ve got Bloodline, FIGHT:UK, The Evanston Express, Spin Cycle… Tyson Brewer & Brinley Bishop…”
[…]
Kirkland: “The latter of which seems intent on leaving a path of destruction in their wake, wherever they go. Those two Hoss’ are a real problem if they can find that chemistry. Kenneth and I, we won’t back down from anyone – and to be quite honest, we’re getting a little antsy when it comes to defending these championships. We don’t care who it is, or when it is. If you boys think you’ve got what it takes, we aren’t hard to find.”

Spin Cycle (Williams & Taylor) vs. Brinley Bishop & Tyson Brewer
--
The crowd was intrigued with the potential of this contest. Whenever the spotlight was on Bishop & Brewer, you could see a hushed silence fall over the crowd, as they watched these two big men in action.
The match itself was total domination. Bishop started out, and he worked Reggie Taylor over with multiple suplexex, followed by a vicious ground and pound. When he tagged his partner in, Brewer kept the vicious beatdown going by holding Taylor in their corner so he could unleash a barrage of strikes. Each blow was vicious, as the crowd winced at the impact.
Jamal Williams was encouraging his partner on the outside of the ring, but he didn’t exactly look excited to be tagged into the match. Lucky for him, Taylor didn’t ever make out of the opposite corner. Bishops held Taylor in a bearhug position, while Brewer hit the ropes and blasted him with a running clothesline, at which point Bishop drove Taylor to the mat with as much force as he could muster with a devastating spinebuster. Bishop put two hands on Taylor’s chest and did a push up as the referee counted to 3!
Winners: Brinley Bishop & Tyson Brewer (3:13) via Clothesline/SpinBuster Combo
As the referee was about to raise the hands of the winners, The Evanston Express jumped the guardrail and attacked them from behind. Slater and Warren seemed hell bent on exacting some form of revenge for their loss on the last show. Jamal Williams ceased the opportunity to join in on the beat down, making it 3 on 2. Before long, Taylor cleared the cobwebs and started to lay into Bishop from behind.
The 4 on 2 assault lasted for all of thirty seconds before the tide changed. Tyson Brewer showed off his strength by launching Taylor with a press slam from the ring to the arena floor. He felt David Slater close by, and he clotheslined him out of his boots. Meanwhile, Bishop had broken free from an attempted suplex by Sheldon Warren, and speared him so hard he fell through the ropes. At which point he grabbed a fresh Jamal Williams and drove him down with a nasty sit-out powerbomb. The crowd started to cheer on the carnage, as what started as a 4 on 2 attack, ended with the Bishop and Brewer laying waste to their attackers. Once the two men realized they had disposed of the other 4 – they exited the ring, business as usual.

Jon Smith stood backstage, and he was speaking to the referee for the next match.
Jon: “I’ve made it clear to both parties, that there will not be any outside interference. If Delgado has any assistance from the rest of Bloodline, he’s going to lose the Midwest Championship. The same goes for Fuentes. He’s exercising his rematch clause, but under the guise that this will be a straight forward wrestling match to prove who the better man is.”
“Now go out there, and call it right down the middle.”

Edgar Delgado © vs. Esteban ‘En Fuego’ Fuentes
--
These two latino wrestlers are gifted in their own way. Their passion and desire to succeed is unmatched, and with the championship on the line – they treated the crowd to a match of the year candidate.
After a long feeling out process, the two men finally dove head first into the match. Feuntes seemed more willing to throw caution to the wind, and take a few calculated risks to gain an upperhand. Say what you want about Delgado’s choice of henchmen, he’s a sly fox in the ring, and always seems to be thinking his way through each transition inside of the ring. It’s a beautiful thing to behold.
Delgado’s elite status in lucha libre showed itself early and often in the match. Delgado’s used the ropes for leverage as often as he did to springboard himself to propel more force as he executed arm drags, fist locks and hurricanranas. Ever the optimist, Delgado would make quick covers on Feuntes, looking to tire him out. The more times he forced Esteban to kick out of the pin attempts, the more energy he would exert from his core muscles.
Once Fuentes has kicked out, Delgado would immediately grab a hold, and wrench it in deep, forcing Fuentes to fight out of it. Fuentes showed he was equal to the task, and appeared to be in great shape. After a reverse chinlock situation, Fuentes got to his feet and elbowed his way out of it, before hitting the ropes and hitting Delgado with a step up enziguiri.
The slap from the kick was intense, and saliva from Delgado’s mouth nearly hit the roof. Fentues climbed to the top rope quickly and hit a nice shooting star press, and held for the cover, which only got him a 2 count. The crowd chanted TWOO!
Fenutes picked Delgado up to a seated position, hit the ropes and somersaulted over Delgado, but gabbed his neck in the process and snapped it forward. Fuentes brought Delgado to his feet, and executed a hammerlock DDT. He went for the pin, but got a 2.5 count.
The crowd was really behind the former champion, as they believed if it hadn’t been for Ortega blindsiding everyone, he would still be the first and ONLY Midwest Champion. Fuentes body slammed Delgado down in the middle of the ring, before going to the top rope again. This time, his 450 splash attempt failed, as Delgado rolled out of the way.
Delgado picked Fuentes up, and dropped him headfirst with a snap brainbuster! You could see the impact compress the neck of Fuentes as a glazed look fell over his face. Delgado looked at this opponent, and knew he had just changed the match in his favour. Delgado didn’t want to take any chances though, so he picked Fuentes up against and planted him with a michinoku driver! Delgado was up like a cat, and went to the top rope, and came off with a split-legged moonsault, falling right across the prone body of Fenutes. The referee was in position to make the count, and Delgado earned the pinfall victory!
Winner and STILL Midwest Champion: Edgar Delgado (17:28) via Split Legged Moonsault
Edgar Delgado was presented with his championship, and he draped it over his right shoulder. He saw the rest of the Bloodline group at the top of the ramp applauding his efforts. He told them to stay there, as he wanted this moment to himself. Perhaps Delgado has heard the critics whispering about the amount of times he has used the numbers game to his advantage. However this effort tonight showed the world that Edgar Delgado is a very dangerous man without any assistance.
Parker: “It’s nice to see you two are taking this seriously. Travelling together is an ode to the old school. What better way to strengthen this union, then to rely on one and other both in and out of the ring.”
Brewer: “We want a match tonight against Spin Cycle.”
