The following show took place in Kansas City, MO on September 23rd, 2019.
--
The show begins with Bloodline walking to the ring. The New Midwest Champion; Edgar Delgado leads the way, with Manuel Mayorga and Santiago Ortega closely behind. The leader of this notorious stable spun a web of deceit over the past few months, duping even the strongest of critics. Edgar Delgado orchestrated the ultimate blindside, as Santiago Ortega became the official 3rd member of the crew, after he stabbed former Midwest Champion - Esteban Fuentes in the back. Ortega's decision to align himself with Delgado was timely, and came at the most opportune time for the group.
Delgado had the Midwest Championship around his waist, as he instructed his crew to open the ropes for him. They obliged, and the new top guy in MPW set foot inside of the ring for the first time since he captured the championship two weeks ago. Delgado asks for a mic, but instead of addressing the crowd, he opts to allow Ortega to speak. Ortega speaks through broken english, but his message is clear...
Ortega talks about how their plan was in play for the past five months, and nobody was the wiser. Ortega said that Bloodline is always thinking long term, and that with Delgado leading the way, their minds would only expand. Ortega passed the mic to Mayorga, who promised that their 'king' would always rule, and if someone thought they would be able to take the Midwest Championship away from them - that it would have to be over their dead bodies. The crowd looked stunned, unsure whether to cheer or boo. The vibe they felt, was something unique. These men meant every word they said, and with Delgado's resume and wrestling acumen leading them - Bloodline would have to be considered one of the strongest forces in the entire NAWC.
Before Delgado could speak, the former Midwest Champion; Esteban Fuentes emerged from backstage. He stood at the top of the ramp.
Fuentes: "What you three did to me, and my career at 'First Blood' was unspeakable. The fact that the three of you stand here tonight offering your version of events makes me sick to my stomach. I can assure you all, that you haven't seen the last of me. In fact, I will be exercising my right to a rematch in the very near future."
[The crowd reacts with excitement.]
Fuentes: "But in the meantime, since we're all here tonight - let's have ourselves a match. Since you three believe that you're the strongest force here in MPW, I say you put your money where your mouth is."
[Inside of the ring, Manuel Mayorga takes his mic and exercises his free will.]
Mayorga: "The King won't be in action tonight. He's earned a night off after his big victory two weeks ago. Instead, Ortega and I would love to crack your skull here, tonight. What do you say?"
[The crowd pops with excitement, as it appears as though we have two willing parties in this potential match.]
Fuentes: "You're on. But if you think I came alone, think again."
[The crowd waits with anticipation, until..]
[Crossfire.]
[The new number one contender to the Midwest Championship after his victory in the Battle Royal at First Blood.]
[Once the crowd realizes that it's going to be Fuentes and Crossfire challenging Mayorga and Ortega, they jump to their feet and applaud.]
[YES!]
Crossfire: "The top two challengers to the Midwest Championship have decided to breakdown that forcefield that you have surrounding the golden jewel. Tonight, we will inch ourselves closer to eliminating you three from the landscape here in MPW."
[Delgado steps forward, and merely raises the top prize in the territory over his head. Fuentes and Crossfire exit stage left, and we shoot backstage.]

[Backstage.]
Tyson Brewer enters the locker room with purpose. He surveys the area, before walking over to his target.
[Brinley Bishop.]
Brewer: "What's up HOSS?"
[Bishop looks up to see the only other man on the MPW Roster who could match his size and strength. As if it were a deep rooted reaction - Bishop hops to his feet and stands nose to nose with Brewer. Both men are looking deep into the eyes of the other.]
[...]
[No Words are said. These two heavyweights continue to stare holes through one and other. Bishop eventually breaks the silence.]
Bishop: "What's it to you?"
[...]
Brewer: "Look, I come in peace. What I did want to point out to you, was the fact that in the battle royal - you and I were clearly targeted."
Bishop: "Yeah, so? The fact that it turned out to be a 5 on 1 elimination was the only way they were ever going to get me out of that match."
Brewer: "Point taken. I was dealt that very same hand, my friend."
Brewer nailed Slater with a huge spinebuster on the arena floor, while Bishop locked Warren up and exploded with an overhead Belly to Belly suplex, which was impressive due to the sheer power it took to muster that level of force. Once Bishop and Brewer had laid waste to Slater and Warren – they turned their sights to the ring where Jamal Williams and Reggie Taylor stood waiting. Spin Cycle decided not to run, and would accept the challenge head on.
As Brewer approached, Williams hit the ropes and launched himself over the top rope with a plancha that momentarily put Brewer on his back. Bishop quickly grabbed Williams by the scruff of his neck and launched him into the arena guardrail. The impact moved the guardrail nearly a foot, as Bishop looked like a man possessed. Reggie Taylor stomped away at Bishop as he rolled under the ropes, and this strategy was effective for a few moments before the big country boy got to his feet. At which time he locked Taylor up in a cobra clutch submission. Taylor was fading and fading fast. Williams looked to get into the ring to save his partner, but Tyson Brewer ran at him and nailed him with a big boot, that sent him over the guardrail and into the first row.
The Evanston Express got back to their feet, and decided to get back into the mix. This was a bad decision, as Brewer laid in wait, and when they entered the ringside area – Brewer blasted Slater with a running lariat. Sheldon Warren tried to fight back, but Brewer nailed him with a nasty right hand, which dropped him to one knee. Bishop exited the ring, and the two big men executed a double running powerbomb to Sheldon Warren on the arena floor.
The fans looked on in shock, as Brewer and Bishop had laid waste to their tormentors from the battle royal, and were making a statement. The thought started to creep in – who would be able to stop these two powerhouses? They certainly just did whatever they wanted just now, and laid waste to four men in succession. Finally a group of MPW officials came to ringside to stop the chaos, and did their best to usher the two men away. But, the damage had been done.
Result: NO CONTEST

[Backstage.]
[Bishop and Brewer walked through the hallway shoulder to shoulder. Their size and strength was on full display just moments ago. Bishop realizes that there is a camera there, and he speaks his mind.]
Bishop: “Times are changing here in Midwestern Pro – and what you just witnessed out there proves it. If the Evanston Express or Spin Cycle feel like they want to come correct, and wrestle us in a fully sanctioned match – let this be considered their challenge to do so. We’ll wait to hear from you…”
[Tyson Brewer smirks, knowing this was his brainchild to begin with. The two men brush past the camera, before the scene fades away.]

Master of the Mat Challenge
20 Minute Time Limit
Willard Manchester (195lbs) vs. Kenneth Marshall (242lbs)
There were rumors circulating on the internet that this match might actually come to fruition, and much to the delight of the crowd, it did. Willard Manchester dominated the Cruiserweight Ranks for nearly 8 months, before finally losing his championship to Dan Patterson. Manchester believes that he shouldn’t be feel boxed into a particular weight class, and feels he can match technical wrestling with anyone at any weight class. Enter Kenneth Marshall. The Authority on Technical wrestling caught wind of Manchester’s claims – and on the heels of their tag team match at First Blood – Marshall was quick to raise his hand with the thought of backing up his reputation as the best mat wrestler in all of the NAWC.
The ring stayed as it normally does, but the point of this match was to keep in on the mat. There would be no open hand strikes, no moves off of the top rope. Pinfall or Submission would be the only way to win!
Although Manchester would be giving up close to 50 pounds, he didn’t seem bothered. As the match got underway, there was a long feeling out process. Marshall would initiate a lot of the transitions, as Manchester would find a way to reverse it, or sneak away just before Marshall could gain full control of the position.
We watched as Marshall showed a tremendous amount of respect to Manchester, as the cheeky brit did all he could to establish himself as Marshall’s equal. Marshall’s momentum and desire to constantly push forward nearly cost him the match at around the ten minute mark. Manchester was able to dodge his attempt, and secure a backslide pin, to which Marshall was able to break free from at the last second.
The crowd marveled at this exhibition, as this isn’t what they would traditionally see at an MPW event. Marshall was able to secure a waistlock from behind, and take Manchester over with a german suplex with a bridge, but he was only able to hold the position for a two count.
As Marshall pressed forward, Manchester would sweep his leg, and take Marshall’s back to which he secured his left ankle, and started to torque it with all of his might. He had Marshall locked up in the middle of the ring, and the Canadian Grappler was struggling to fight out of the hold. Manchester fell down and grapevined the knee, and wrenched back even further to create more leverage.
Marshall was in agony, and doing all he could to push himself up from the mat with the upper body strength that he’s known for. Eventually he would be successful in doing so, and then used a forward roll to shake Manchester’s grip, and force him face first into the near ropes. Manchester popped off, and Marshall dropped down and secured a school boy roll up. The referee was in position, as a stunned Manchester didn’t have the core strength to push the bigger man off. The ref counted to three, but Manchester broke free at 3.1 seconds. The referee stepped in between the two men, and informed Manchester that he had been beaten with just fifteen seconds remaining on the clock.
Marshall extended his hand out of respect, but Manchester refused it. Instead warning Marshall that this wouldn’t be the last time that the two of them would cross paths.
Winner: Kenneth Marshall (19:45) via School Boy Roll Up

[Some of Bloodline’s most ferocious moments are captured in this highlight package. Most notably, the recent turn from Santiago Ortega is documented.]
[From the initial contact Ortega and Mayorga had back in the spring. We watch as Mayorga and Delgado refuse Ortega’s public advances to join the group.]
[We watch as Esteban Fuentes goes out of his way to be-friend Ortega, and take him under his wing.]
[We’re left with the cruel ending to the main event of First Blood, as Ortega comes through the crowd to deliver a cheap shot, which leads to Edgar Delgado pinning Fuentes.]
[The final shot is a close up of the Midwest Championship around the waist of Edgar Delgado.]

[Back to ringside.]
The scene started with Edgar Delgado leading Mayorga and Ortega to the ring. The fans were none too pleased to watch the swagger that the three men walked with, as they walked to the ring. Anything and everything Delgado was saying to them was being held in the highest level of regard.
The three men enter the ring, and stand united in the middle. The crowd reacts, and Delgado sends a few warnings to those who don’t agree with their agenda.
Before the bravado can continue, Crossfire’s music hits, and the Hawaiian Alpha Dog walks towards the ring. After winning the number one contender’s battle royal, Crossfire and Delgado are on a collision course to battle for the Midwest Championship.
Crossfire gets into the ring, and as he does, Delgado has his crew exit, while all keeping a keen eye on him. Crossfire gets the crowd excited, and flexes as he waits for his partner to arrive. There was only one problem… he didn’t arrive.
[The Big Screen.]
We watched as Esteban Fuentes was laying face down, with blood pooling around his forehead. The camera panned up, and we saw Death Adder standing their with a chain wrapped around his right hand. Adder started speaking in Spanish about the level of disrespect that Fuentes had shown Bloodline, and how he wouldn’t tolerate it. Adder also said that Bloodline was going to be world-wide, and that this was only the beginning.
The crowd looked on in horror, as it was clear that Fuentes was not fit to complete in the tag team match. Just as Crossfire realized what had happened, he was ambushed.
Mayorga, Ortega and Delgado entered the ring, and started to lay into the big man. The 3 on 1 assault was brutal, as they each took turns executing their patented strikes while the other two men held Crossfire in place. The disgusting act continued, as Mayorga locked Crossfire into a camel clutch, and allowed Ortega to rush the ropes and blister him with a dropkick square in the face. Blood started to pour from Crossfire’s face and mouth.
The crowd started to cheer, as suddenly Crossfire wasn’t alone in his fight.
[Aaron Vasquez.]
RAAAAAHHHH!
The same man that went to war with Crossfire in International Influence, the same man that split Vasquez’s head open in February… The Man that concussed Vasquez and held him out of action for a month … - would be the same man that he was going to save.
Vasquez rolled into the ring, and started swinging. Vasquez took Ortega down and started to pummel him with firsts of fury from the mount position. Mayorga did he best to pull him off, but Vasquez thumbed him in the eye, before popping up and executing a nasty roaring elbow that dropped Mayorga right where he stood.
The crowd was absolutely rocking. Vasquez looked at Delgado, he thought better of it, and rolled out of the ring. Delgado walked over to Ortega, but didn’t ever take his eyes of of Vasquez. Mayorga got to his feet, and attempted one last attack, but he was caught by Crossfire, who launched him with an overhead belly to belly suplex through the middle ropes. Mayorga crashed to the arena floor, right on top of his Bloodline stable mates.
Crossfire looked at Vasquez as if he was the last person that he would’ve ever expected to come to his aid after the wars they had earlier this year. There wasn’t an embrace, or even a handshake. Vasquez and Crossfire stood nose to nose, and it looked like they were about to come to blows.
Instead, the crowd started changing NO NO NO! Cooler heads prevailed, as Vasquez waited for The three Bloodline members to retreat towards the backstage area, before he left the ring. Crossfire looked on, as his face was still bleeding from the assault.
