A*P Trios Championship
Manos Del Meurte vs. Prodigy Inc. (c)
On one hand, you have a stable of notorious pro wrestling badasses who've been successful all over the globe for literally over two decades.
On the other hand, you have a guy who pretty much appeared out of a timewarp with two goobers following him, snuck into a tournament he wasn't invited to participate in and trolled his way into winning the thing.
Ironically, the troll and his goobers managed to beat a slightly different lineup of the legendary rudos with the old chair toss and fake chairshot bit in the tournament.
As for the Manos - we'll try to keep this recap brief. The dispute between Death Adder and Cieber Raptor over who's the #2 of the group has been getting more and more out of hand. When the Manos decided to leave Adder off the team and send Raptor with Hidealgo and Luz Rojo, Adder teamed up with Edgar Delgado and NPW's Manuel Mayorga to form Bloodlines. As for Luz? Well she got injured by a wrestler named Queen of Sorrow mostly because of some very poorly executed interference by Cieber Raptor. With Gran Bárbaro saving his strength for an upcoming A*P Grand Championship match and Electric Head also out injured following his own unsuccessful challenge for the Grand Championship, the Manos have no choice but to field a team with Adder and Raptor on it.
We're talking about Adam's Prodigy Inc (Adam Prodigy, Crazy Ivan, and Sven Styles, with Steven Styles) and the Manos del Muerte (here tonight represented by Hidealgo 19, Death Adder and Cieber Raptor, with Electric Head on manager duty).
Sven Styles (the obligatory hoss) started for Adam's Prodigy Inc, but he was poorly equipped to handle the martial arts beatdown that Cieber Raptor laid on him. And when he tagged out to Crazy Ivan, Ivan wasn't much better prepared to handle it. Adam wouldn't get in the ring and try his luck. Cieber Raptor had things so well in hand, actually, that he refused to tag out, and finally got blindsided by his own ego when he tried to get Sven up for the Deinonycho-Driver (Fisherman's Driver). Sven powered out by throwing Raptor into the Prodigy Inc corner.
There was no mistaking the smirk on Death Adder's face as Adam's Prodigy Inc. worked Raptor over in the corner. With Raptor slowed down enough, Ivan sent him on an Irish whip and ran him over with a running headbutt. Hidealgo broke the fall, Adder stayed on the apron. Ivan went top rope and jumped off, but Raptor stepped in to dodge the headbutt and countered with a manhattan drop that looked a bit 'low'. He marched over to the Manos corner and "tagged" Death Adder in - by slapping him across the face at full strength.
Adder was ready to fight Raptor on the spot, and both Hidealgo and Electric Head got between them. And say what you will about Adam Prodigy but he can pick his spots - he raced across the ring to blindside Adder with a running sledge, followed with a floatover German suplex followed by a high release German suplex. (For Adam, it's that his heart levels are rock bottom, not that his meat and potatoes wrestling game isn't pretty good). Llave - the Mexican submission style - isn't effective in a trios match when you're caught in the opposing corner, and when Adder tried an STF variant on Adam, Ivan was able to grab him by the mask and throw him to the ground. Adder was also worked over until he managed to block Sven Styles' double choke lift with a Mongolian chop followed by a chest cracker. Adder crawled across the ring and ignored Raptor's outstretched hand to tag in Hidealgo 19 for the first time.
Hidealgo nearly tripped entering the ring when he got an unexpected 'hot tag' pop.
But he quickly took Sven down with a running DDT and Ivan down with a corbata. He dropkicked Adam on the ankles, then suplexed him into the ring and hit a lionsault! One, two, and it was broken up by Sven. Adder and Raptor managed to work together long enough to throw Sven from the ring. Steven got up on the apron but was easily knocked down by a kick from Raptor. Raptor went to springboard down onto Sven, but Adam entered the ring to dropkick Adder from behind. Adder bumped into Raptor, screwing up the springboard - and Raptor whirled around and grabbed Adder by the head and threw him out of the ring, then hit the ropes and a tope con hilo that took out Sven and Adder! Electric Head was beside himself outside the ring. Hidealgo lifted Adam for the Hangover Music (towerhacker bomb), but Crazy Ivan climbed the ropes and hit THE Crazy Ivan, his top rope lunging headbutt, to the back of Hidealgo's head. Adam landed on his feet and quickly schoolboyed Hidealgo for the three, and Adam's Prodigy Inc's second victory over the Manos del Muerte!
At least nobody was really paying attention to Adam and the Goobers celebrating in the ring - watching Electric Head and security try to keep Death Adder and Cieber Raptor from getting into an all out brawl with each other was more entertaining.
Winners and STILL A*P Trios Champions: Prodigy Inc.

[We watched as Jon Smith approached Oxford Osland, who was standing with Wayne Sherlock and Allan Joseph, collectively known as I-69.]
Jon reminded Osland that since he was in charge tonight, what he said goes.
Osland shot back that they didn't have to listen to anyone, and that ever since he's become the North American Champion, the NAWC is the talk of the wrestling world.
Smith said that while that might be true, he wasn't going to allow the three of them to operate as they have been in the past. As such, Jon Smith was there to deliver the news that tonight's match would have the stipulation that ALL NAWC wrestlers would be barred from ringside. The only way to truly prove who the top man in the NAWC is, was to ensure that this match had a clear and decisive winner.
The scene ended with Osland and I-69 looking uncomfortable.

Crown Jewel Wrestling Television Championship
Tyler Povey vs. Rich Justice ©
It was clear from the get go that Tyler Povey was eager to get his hands on Rich Justice, but he was even more eager to capture the Crown Jewel Wrestling Television Championship. Yet despite the early onslaught of strikes, Rich Justice controlled the early going of the match on the mat and neutralised Povey’s power advantage. Rich tried to end the match early on with a submission, but Povey’s notable endurance put paid to that idea, and Povey managed to apply a submission of his own, but Justice’s escape lead to the Television Champion being back in control of the match.
Throughout the contest Justice looked for ways to shortcut his way to victory, including eye rakes, chokes, and attempts to distract the referee. Each time Tyler looked like he was about to mount any kind of offence, Rich Justice cut it off with yet another move that riled the crowd up. After a pumphandle slam and a knee drop to the forehead, Justice left the ring to grab a chair, which was promptly taken off of him by the official. Justice argued for just too long and gave Povey the chance to roll him up, however only for a two count.
Rich really laid into the referee after the kick out, and he probably should have learned from the first time, but Povey rolled him up again. Justice kicked out, but in the confusion after the kickout and Povey’s eagerness to take Rich’s head off, Povey ended up taking the official out with a clothesline after Rich Justice ducked the attempt. Justice hit Povey in the face with what seemed to be some sort of object, then went back for the chair he’d attempted to use earlier. He wrapped it around Povey’s neck, but before he could jump from the top rope onto it, Boom Boom Empire hit the ring to distract him long enough for Povey to recover and hit an avalanche Double Underhook Suplex for the three count!
Winner and NEW Crown Jewel Wrestling Television Champion: Tyler Povey

[The camera takes us backstage.]
Boom Boom Empire was looking pretty proud of himself when he was approached by a familiar face, none other than the UK’s own Robbie Farside.
Farside said he was in town to scope out a new home after the colapse of the House of Strong Style, then said he wasn’t impressed with Boom Boom’s actions earlier on.
Farside told Boom Boom Empire he should be ashamed of what he’d done out there earlier and how his behaviour was unfitting of a champion. He asked Boom Boom how he’d feel if someone cost him his title.
Boom Boom replied that Rich Justice had held on to his title belt by cutting corners and running from fights for too long, and tonight that caught up with him. Boom Boom said Justice knows where he can find him, then suggested that Robbie Farside knew where he could find him as well.
Farside replied saying he was after competition, and it doesn’t look like competition is alive in Crown Jewel Wrestling as long as Boom Boom Empire is running around.

The next segment opened up with Dementia standing in the ring with a mic in hand. Dementia said when he makes promises, he keeps them. He promised the world that he would unleash an improved and evolved Black Jaguar to the world and that's exactly what he's going to do. Dementia hissed, and pointed to the aisle. Emerging from the back was man wearing a black mask with a red skull on it. This man wore spikes on his shoulders, and wore a full black and red body suit. The fans stood in silence, watching.
Dementia said "The Night has risen... and now the Night has fallen. He then presented.... Nightfall!!!"
The man now known as Nightfall approaches the ring. He bows slightly to Dementia, who looks obsessed with his creation. Nightfall sticks his tongue out, revealing a spray of red mist.
After a few moments, the new North American Cruiserweight Champion made his way towards the ring, and was well received by the fans.

North American Cruiserweight Championship
Nightfall vs. Dan Patterson (c)
Our match was plagued with constant interference and distractions from Dementia. Whenever he was able to distract Patterson, he would. The small openings this created allowed Nightfall to take control of the match. We noticed a much stiffer, and rough style from the former friendly luchadore. The crowd was clearly behind Patterson, and their support served him well, as Patterson would feed off their emotions. Once highlight mid match saw Patterson leap out of the ring and catch Dementia with a Plancha, which wiped him out. Before Dementia could back to his feet, Patterson had slid back into the ring, and nailed a running clothesline which flipped Nightfall inside out.
As Patterson was admiring his work, Dementia pulled him outside of the ring behind the referee's back and executed a nasty elevated DDT to the concrete floor. Patterson's body laid their lifeless, and this appeared to have shifted the control over to Nightfall, for an eventual victory. Suddenly the crowd was on their feet as Turbulenica from A*P rushed to the ringside area. The crowd was hot for this, as Turbulencia pushed Dementia out of the way, and blocked him from doing anymore damage. The referee was alerted to the situation, and turned to find Turbulencia trying to revive Patterson.
Dementia demanded that the referee do something about this. Nightfall rolled out of the ring and had a stare down with Turbulencia, before he grabbed Patterson by the scruff of the neck and rolled him back into the ring. Nightfall executed a german suplex hold, but Patterson was able to roll his shoulder at the last second tp prevent the three count. The crowd was doing all they could to energize the champion. Dementia tried to sneak attack Turbulencia, but that attempt was thwarted, which caused the referee to lose focus on the match itself for a minute.
Nightfall also turned his attention to what was going on at ringside, and took his eyes off of Patterson. When Nightfall returned, he was caught with an inside cradle, and Patterson had him held down. The referee jumped into position and counted to three!
Patterson's hand was raised, and as the referee was going to the time keeper to grab the NAWC Cruiserweight Championship. Dementia got into the ring and looked to do some more damage to the champion. This brought Turbulencia into the ring, and he showcased an amazing skill set of arial moves. Before long, Dementia and Nightfall were retreating, and walking away from the ring area, while the two friends from Andrews Promotions shared a moment in the ring together. Dan Patterson held the Cruiserweight Championship high, before we cut backstage.

We watch as Aaron Vasquez was taping his wrists and fists, preparing for battle. We were reminded of the history between Vasquez and Osland.
A lengthy video package aired to show how these two men had gotten to this point in their rivalry.
We then moved back to the arena for the North American Tag Team Championship match.

North American Tag Team Championship
The Shining Stars vs. The World Beaters ©
If you want to talk about hard hitting, knock down, drag out wrestling, then the North American Tag Team Championship match was the one to talk about. Tetsu Kondo started the match up against Jason Brown in a clash of power versus power and neither man budged an inch. A test of strength didn’t provide a winner and the two exchanging shoulder barges in the middle of the ring proved even less. The make up of the match changed entirely as Kano Ito entered though, as he brought with him his much faster pace, which Brown struggled to keep up with.
Dave Thompson fared slightly better as he grounded Ito, but clipping Ito’s wings didn’t keep him out of the sky for long, and a springboard dropkick brought The Shining Stars right back into things. With Kondo back in the ring, Dave Thompson found himself on the receiving end of the kind of beatdown he’s usually administer as Kondo focused on his back in his attempts to set up for the Sharpshooter, but whenever he tried to apply the hold, Thompson still had the wherewithall to scramble for the ropes.
The match turned around again as Dave Thompson escaped a belly to back suplex attempt with an arm drag and managed to tag Jason Brown back in. Brown got on the offensive immediately, doing away with the competitions he’d partaken in at the start of the match and proceeded to hit Kondo with his trademark slams. With the sage advice from Watanabe at ringside though, Kondo kept his head about him and found himself reversing a powerbomb attempt with a back body drop. A simultaneous tag followed and Ito and Thompson clashed once more.
Ito gained the upper hand and The Shining Stars looked poised to hit Thompson with their Spike Piledriver, only for Jason Brown to emerge from under the ring and push Ito off of the middle rope and down to the outside. Kondo dropped Thompson just before Brown hit him with a clothesline and Thompson flipped over with a jackknife pin, and two handfuls of tights, to pick up the three count, retain the North American Tag Team Championships and deal The Shining Stars their first loss!

North American Championship
Aaron Vasquez vs. Oxford Osland (c)
As the match got underway, it was clear that Osland had a ton of respect for Vasquez, and how couldn't he? Vasquez has built himself a reputation on never backing down, while living his life on the edge. Vasquez showed Osland that he was no slouch from the technical standpoint of things as well. Osland tried to turn the bout into a technical showcase, and Vasquez was able to keep up. Vasquez proved to Osland that he wasn't just some tough thug from the streets, and that the stories of his wrestling career were every bit as legitimate as they were told to be.
Vasquez surprised Osland early on by executing various forms of the backbreaker, which scored him some near falls. Vasquez would back Osland up against the ropes and unleash a fury of knife edge chops that left the champion's chest bruised. Vasquez could sense that Osland wanted to keep this contest above board, so Vasquez would do his best to try and mix it up with strikes, and high risk moves. His strategy was working, as Osland couldn't seem to find his proper footing for the first eight minutes of the match. Osland would exit the ring to gather himself, while taking an ear full from the capacity crowd.
Osland would normally be able to draw from his arsenal of trickery, but with his henchmen nowhere to be found - he would have to earn this victory. A mis-timed suicide dive from Vasquez landed him shoulder first into the still guard rail, which swung the momentum in the match back to Osland. Once Osland had Vasquez down, you could see him regain his confidence. Osland executed multiple suplexes before attempting the pinfall - but he wasn't able to hold Vasquez down for the three count.
Osland tried to keep the pressure on, but Vasquez was stubborn, and always did his best to fight his way out of Osland's grasp, and get back to the offensive. Vasquez was over powering Osland and almost every turn, and the crowd started to feel as though Vasquez might pull this one off. A running roaring elbow nearly broke Osland's jaw. Vasquez was down for the cover, and Osland rolled his shoulder just before the three count.
Vasquez followed it up with a running power slam. Vasquez climbed to the top rope and came off with a diving headbutt! He covered Osland, but was only able to get 2.5 count.
The crowd started to slow clap in unison, to encourage Vasquez to finish the job. Osland stood prone, and was met with a running lariat from Vasquez. A pinfall, but not able to complete the victory with the three count. Vasquez looked surprised, that this young blue chipper who had been cheating his way to victory on countless occasions was actually fit enough to absorb some of these shots, and refuse to quit. Vasquez stuck Osland with a powerbomb, before climbing to the top rope again... this time Vasquez came off with a frog splash, but Osland got the knees up at the last second. Vasquez had gotten the wind knocked out of him. Osland was doing all he could to get back to his feet, but it was a struggle. It was almost as if his knees had come up instinctually.
As Osland got up to one knee, Vasquez was on his feet. Osland quickly rolled him up with a small package, but Vasquez broke free early in the pinfall attempt. Osland would roll out of the way, trying to regain himself before falling victim to another Vasquez onslaught.
Osland found his feet, and pushed up hard with a european uppercut that jacked the jaw of Vasquez. Vasquez stumbled into the corner, where Osland followed and started to lay more significant strikes into the chest of the challenger. Osland picked Vasquez up in a Vertical suplex position, before sitting him on the top rope. Osland grabbed Vasquez by the neck and delivered a nasty cutter type move, bringing Vasquez down head/neck first to the mat.
Osland didn't stop there, as he got on the ground and locked Vasquez in a dragon sleeper! The referee was checking on Vasquez, and he refused to quit. Osland had the hold synched in deep, and was right in the middle of the ring. Vasquez started to fight it, rolling from side to side, looking to break free. The referee stayed on top of it, and Vasquez kept refusing to give up. Osland was move his weight backwards, providing further torque to Vasquez's neck. The struggle started to fade, as the referee picked up Vasquez's hand once... twice... thr--.. NO!
Vasquez went back to fighting it, and refusing to submit. Osland stayed true to his position, and locked his hands together as tight as he could. Vasquez had nowhere to go, and by trying to pull his head out of the hold, was straining his neck and shoulders. The referee asked, and Vasquez refused. Vasquez started to kip up, with Osland still holding onto the dragon sleeper position. Vasquez started to kick his legs, and nearly got free... but Osland used his weight and leverage to force Vasquez back down to the mat... but this time, he locked Vasquez's body up in a body scissors, while maintaining even more pressure on the neck fo Vasquez.
We could watch as the fight started to slow down... even slower... until it was over. The referee raised Vasquez's hand once... twice...and a third time. He called for the bell. Aaron Vasquez had passed out.
Winner and STILL North American Champion: Oxford Osland
--
The referee handed Osland the North American Championship, and then it didn't take long for Osland to be joined in the ring by Wayne Sherlock and Allan Joseph. The three of them celebrated while the medics checked on Vasquez. Osland looked into the camera and had a few words for anyone who doubted him. Osland told Jon Smith that it would take more than that to unseat him as the champion. Now that Osland had proven to the world he could hold his own with one of the most dangerous men in the wrestling industry - he proclaimed that his reign of terror was only in third gear.
I-69 broke up the verbal assault, by putting Osland on their shoulders and walking him around the ring. The crowd in attendance were visibly distraught, as they had truly believed that this would be the day that Osland's reign would finally come to an end. But it was not to be.

After a few moments, the new North American Cruiserweight Champion made his way towards the ring, and was well received by the fans.
