- Oxford Osland and Aaron Vasquez are on a collision course. It was finally brought to light that Osland made Vasquez an offer he couldn't refuse back in December during the CofaC tournament. The offer was to derail Alec Kirkland's quest for the championship, and by doing so he would receive a cash payment, as well as a future North American Championship match should Osland win the tournament. Well, the plan went off without a hitch, and eight months later Oxford Osland is still the North American Champion. Some fans noticed that Vasquez didn't seem interested in winning his match with Kirkland, and instead caused a double countout as he refused to allow Kirkland to get back into the ring before the ten count. Now that all of this information has been brought to light - Vasquez is looking to cash in on his championship opportunity. This match will headline the next NAWC Supershow which is set for August the 31st.
- Speaking of the NAWC Supershow, we can now confirm that all three NAWC Championships will be on the line. The NAWC World Tag Team Champions; The World Beaters will defend their championships against the winners of the Imperial Crown Tag Team Championships. We now know that the winner of the inaugural tournament to crown the champions will be considered the defect number one contenders to the North American Tag Team Championships. Will the World Beaters defend their championships against The Shining Stars Team of Ito and Kondo... Or will they defend against The Shooters Club duo of Lance Romance and KUMA. We will find out at the August on the Atlantic super show.
- The North American Cruiserweight Championship will also be on the line. The winner of the match between current champion Willard Manchester and top challenger Dan Patterson will defend the championship against The Black Jaguar. Jaguar was successful in winning a fatal fourway match in MPW last month. The current state of the Cruiserweight Division is hot and heavy, as multiple contenders have risen over the past couple of months. There is no doubt that many eyes will be locked onto this contest, as the landscape is bound to change as we head into the fall season.
- At CJW's Off With Their Heads pay per view, we will witness the top two singles competitors compete to see who is the most dominant champion in CJW. Rich Justice has been lighting it up as of late - going as far as to defeat two contenders in one night. On top of that, Justice has stated that he is the best champion in all of CJW. Those comments weren't taken too kindly by the current Crown Jewel Champion; Boom Boom Empire. Boom Boom has been on an absolute tear since the inception of CJW, and has yet to be defeated. All eyes will be on this match, as the victor will assume absolute power within the promotion.
- MPW's Lethal Lottery came off as a tremendous success. Forcing wrestlers out of their element by having them randomly team with others is an interesting concept. Stage 1 brought some clarity to the competitors who valued the opportunity to challenge the MPW Champion. During stage 2, it went back to every man for themselves. Edgar Delgado emerged victorious and will challenge Esteban Fuentes for the championship on August 20th. Bloodline has proven to be a force within the ranks of the NAWC. Will Edgar Delgado reach the pinnacle in MPW and defeat the current champion? Time will tell.
- Alec Kirkland and Kenneth Marshall seemed disappointed with the fact that I-69 now reside within the ranks of Northern Pro Wrestling. Kirkland seemed to be the most vocal, as he felt as though their feud wasn't over, and he had more violence to inflict. On the flipside, the departure of I-69 opened the door for a newer version of FIGHT: UK to walk in the door and push the current MPW Tag Team Champions to the brink. We can now confirm that after these two teams were deadlocked after 20 minutes - that they will meet again on August 20th with the championship titles on the line.
- Northern Pro Wrestling's Ralph Erickson was recently attacked by a man in a black ski mask. Erickson deduced that the attack must've been by his current adversary; Jackson Evens. However, Evans debunked the claim, and swore it wasn't him. If Jackson is telling the truth - who was the man who attacked Erickson? My guess is we are going to find out sooner rather than later. Regardless - Erickson and Evans are set to headline the August on the Atlantic super show as they vie for the Canadian Commonwealth Championship.
- Since Marcus Smith dropped the mask and the White Light mantra, he's proving to be quite the impact player in Northern Pro Wrestling. Smith, along with Eric Carlson proved to be game in the Imperial Crown Tag Team Tournament, and nearly made it to the finals of the tournament. Also, Perpetual Motion wrestled Ralph Erickson and Allan Algar to a time limit draw at a recent house show. Let's not forget that Smith was invited to take part in the CofaC Tournament back in December. Smith was also a Semi-finalist in the Cruiserweight Cup earlier this year. While Smith hasn't fully broken through, he's definitely someone to keep our eyes on going forward. Add to the fact that he's Jon Smith's son and comes from a very sophisticated wrestling background - we shouldn't be asking if he's going to break out and instead be asking ourselves when. Regardless, 2019 has been a fantastic year for the young man up until this point.
- While it hasn't fully been explained and merely alluded to... The History between Eastern Elite (Erickson/Algar) and Eric Carlson is very real. These three men all fall under the banner of the Eagles Nest training school where Ralph's Father Albert is the patriarch. These men were said to have vowed not to wrestle one and other unless absolutely necessary. Rewind about a month ago, and Eric Carlson was named Marcus Smith's tag team partner, and their first match as a team was against Erickson and Algar. Have these old ties now been broken? Or was this match a one off thing? Eastern Elite were said to have been caught off guard, but accepted the match as they refused to step down from a challenge. Also, I wonder if Kenneth Marshall is upset that Eric Carlson is now using their Perpetual Motion name that they made famous throughout the Canadian Indies in the past. Lots of layers here, and lots of time for them to unravel organically.
- The Dominance of Manos Del Muerte has been well documented. They've essentially walked into multiple promotions in the NAWC and had their way. Most recently, they tore the house down in A*P in front of Matthew Saunders and Gus Arnold. As they always do, Manos seemed to take the night hostage, and they weren't ready to relent until they had assumed the control they desired. Lost in the shuffle has been the recent falling out they've had with Death Adder. 'DA' accepted an offer to join Edgar Delgado and Manuel Mayorga in the A*P Trios tournament and they now find themselves in the tournament finals. Can Death Adder be trusted, or is he a Trojan Horse sent from the outside to penetrate this up and coming group?
- What do we make of Northern Pro Wrestling latest signee; Dementia? This man prefers to hang around the boiler room of the arena, while concealing his identity. He's vowed to hunt and kill members of the NPW roster, and said so with conviction. This man is definitely someone we should be keeping our eyes on.
