Over the last 24 hours our sources have learned that Gus Arnold and Jon Smith have been negotiating a talent swap. This will be the first of its kind within the NAWC, but certainly not the last.
The following wrestlers will finish up their respective obligations, and begin their new journeys starting the first of August.
To Northern Pro Wrestling
I-69 (Allan Joseph & Wayne Sherlock)
The Black Jaguar
To Midwestern Pro Wrestling
FIGHT: UK
Tyson Brewer
Both sides are said to be very pleased with the outcomes of the negotiations. MPW acquire the services of the NAWC Cruiserweight Champion on a regular basis, along with his stablemates. Also, they acquire one of the more talented big men in the NAWC in Tyson Brewer. Imagining some of the match ups between Brewer and some of the heavy hitters on the MPW roster is enough to make anyone salivate.
Jon Smith recently punished I-69 for their antics during the battle bowl event which ended up costing Kenneth Marshall severely. Smith declared that I-69 had revoked their privileges and wouldn’t receive any future tag team title opportunities. One has to wonder if the political influence of current North American Champion; Oxford Osland has anything to do with this change in scenery. The relationship between these three men and MPW management was on very shaky ground. The Black Jaguar has proven to be one of the best Cruiserweights in the NAWC and will be a welcome addition to the NPW roster. Jaguar found himself in the middle of a few wars, perhaps he will find his place north of the border.
More on this as it develops.
