Name | Role | Biography | |
Ed Taylor | Owner | CJW was founded by 43 year old Ed Taylor (a.k.a The King), who acts as the owner and general manager of the promotion. Ed is a firm but fair leader who will only show up when necessary and adamantly believes that the wrestlers should be the main focal point of the organization. He will get involved where necessary to prevent his promotion being brought into disrepute or to address a serious situation, but he will never start a war with one of his roster. Ed has a background in TV production and has enlisted a selection of past work contacts to help him produce a 1 hour episodic show that will be streamed on YouTube every Thursday.
Chris York | Play by Play Announcer | Chris York is the voice of Crown Jewel Wrestling. Although relatively young at 34 years old, he has been a fan of wrestling for as long as he can remember and always dreamed of being a wrestler. Unfortunately, a serious injury to his back cut short his in-ring career while he was still training, but he landed a job as a backstage interviewer for NXW which is where he first met Ed Taylor. Upon opening Crown Jewel Wrestling, Ed knew nobody else who had a passion for wrestling quite like Chris.
Harry Richards | Colour Commentary | Semi-Retired professional wrestler Harry Richards has made a career out of running his mouth, and now he can do it from behind the commentary desk. Although he's never managed to achieve world champion status, Harry has never been considered a slouch in the ring. His no nonsense attitude was just the kind of thing Ed wanted in Crown Jewel wrestling, and if Harry can get paid to hear himself talk then he's not going turn that opportunity down.
Abigail Ingman | Announcer | Abigail Ingman was born in London in 1997. She has dreams of being a television presenter and sees Crown Jewel Wrestling as a way to get her face out there to the public.
Keith Clarke | Head Referee | Keith Clarke has a reputation for being tough but fair between the ropes. Very little gets past his watchful eye, and that integrity is exactly what Crown Jewel Wrestling needs from it's most senior official.
Filip Le Duc | Referee | Hailing from Nice, France, Filip Le Duc is one of Crown Jewel Wrestling's referees. He has been officiating professional wrestling for 25 years and knows all of the tricks of the trade, but he's willing to let a few indiscretions slide in the interest of there being a clear cut winner.
Jason Williams | Referee | Observant and perceptive, Jason Williams was born to be a referee. He has a level head of his shoulders and will call every match down the middle.
Jessica Dawes | Referee | The most inexperienced of the officiating staff, Jessica Dawes is just starting her career with Crown Jewel Wrestling. She's eager to make a good impression within the organization though and so is a stickler for the rules. While things may slip past her, she will not forgive a single indiscretion should she notice it.
Dina Akter | Backstage Interviewer | A former new reporter, Dina worked for a magazine show previously produced by Ed Taylor. She has a good relationship with 'The King' and will use that to her advantage to get comments from him where others would usually fail.
Amna Patel | Doctor | Amna Patel is a qualified doctor and family friend of the Taylors. She is on hand at every show, however the hope is that she will never be needed.
'The Beef' Angus MacMillan | Head of Security | Angus MacMillian was born in Glasgow, Scotland. He has worked in security for 15 years and as part of the stage crew for multiple venues across London. He is trained in conflict resolution and will never instigate a fight. He is well respected within Crown Jewel Wrestling. If you don't have a problem with him, he won't have a problem with you. |
